Operations Linebacker I and II, Pierce Arrow, Rolling Thunder, etc. inflicted horrendous damage to North Vietnam, and it was LB II that arguable "bombed NV to the negotiating table."

We pulled out in 1973, and then the Democrat Congress cut off funding to South Vietnam, and their defenses fell apart.
