I just did a video where I made fun of Matt Damon's narration in Spirit: Stallion of the Cimarron. (I think Matt Damon is a great actor, but I made fun of that specific performance). I live in Santa Maria. I saw the news crews outside the courthouse. I saw our courthouse on the news every day. The trial happened in Santa Maria. The only reason they say "near Santa Barbara" (or why Robot Chicken mistakenly used Santa Barbara) is because nobody's heard of Santa Maria (we're about an hour from Santa Barbara). That's kind of the joke of the whole thing, that Jackson is in this obscure small town.
My critique is not about cartoons, No offend to people making cartoons, I do cartoons myself... I just don't think the storyline is funny at all, plus im against the medias controling the public opinion for money or to arrange some conservative and racist dictators. I just dont buy any of that crap, and at least we should give some respect to the greatest artist ever in pop music.. all you see today is inspired from him, and noone has ever sold more album than thriller in the history of music.

The storyline of this cartoon was mainly about how surreal it was that this huge media event was happening in my small, obscure little town. This cartoon does not speculate upon Jackson's guilt or innocence (or my opinion on the subject), or really even deal with the trial directly.

The visual style was done simply and cartoonishly on purpose. But thank you for at least offering a specific critique instead of bashing me for even doing a Michael Jackson parody at all.
So funny! Loved all the voices all done by Brent. Great facial expressions, and especially loved the scene where Michael's white gloved hand can be seen waving through the blinds at the hospital window...too funny. And I love how it ends...taking no sides...so you can take it how you want to!
