one of the best shows ever. simply great dramatic gritty television. a few "creative" stories that weren't at the shows best, but still one of the most consistently interesting and watchable tv show ever made. so many favorite moments, so many favorite characters. if you havn't watched it yet, what the hells wrong with you...?and why are you watching the intro aswell i guess...? I'm gonna have to watch it all over again now, thinking about its got me in the mood to see it all again.

Me and my dad used to watch this show in the late 90's, we were so saddened when it ended. Now every year, we replay the whole series starting with one, ending with six. Never gets old, Never will get old, but man, i never got use to the scene where beecher is in fetal possession crying in his bed because his sons hand got chopped off, that always disturbed me.

Something about this show is so fake. HBO is usually accurate in its depictions but this show is just weird. I guess its mostly the sets I mean the whole em city is like the size of 2 middle class houses. If u counted the cells there couldnt be room for more than 50-70, yet theres a vast & constant flowing drug network that the guards are powerless to stop. Everything is so small, like the gym & workout area. Now Prison Break S1 that seemed real.

I was only 2 years old-8 years old when this show was going on. My parents loved it, but they would never let me watch it.
