  • can you guys take a look at my vids of my 1990 kx 80 it starts but barley i needa no if it needs new rings

  • Nice bike man! Itll be better when shes rippin again. I think a 125 would be a good bike for you. see if you can get one second hand for cheap this time of year.

  • @BigManlyMan4 thank you! i have an update video, but youtube keeps saying error, after like 40% si idk... but its almost done, just waiting on my piston rings~!

  • @89KxRider Perfect! What happened to the motor? Just doing rings?

  • @BigManlyMan4 well, i was un-doing my drain bolt for my oil, an it cracked a small peice off my case, so my dads friend had 2 tig weld it. but thats done now, an i honed my cylinder with a drill tool, an now im waiting 4 my rings, but it has a kx100 cylinder, and piston... ill try uploading new vid!!!

  • @89KxRider nice. so youre makin it into a 100? Is everything the same except the jug?

  • @BigManlyMan4 yes, everything is the same except, it has a kx100 cylinder/piston, and its make it a 103cc's so... i everything done now, an ill probably make a vid 2morrow, but probably no riding, bc it keeps raining!

  • Get new plastics for sure. White number plates and Kawasaki green everything else. If you want a little extra style id get a white rear fender. Get some aftermarket pegs and a new spring. Fork seals should cost around 40 dollars to replace yourself. But if you are 15, get a 125 and sell this bike after you fix it up.

  • @MxRider721 ya, ik , i just bought white backrounds for my side panels.... an im gonna fix it up, file the footpegs..... i want A 125 AN MY mom has the money, its just that i always do something wrong, an get yelled at haha lol

  • haha i need to replace my fork seals to do u know how much thaey would coast?

  • @MrFitbikeco umm, there 2 fork seals u neeed! 1 per fork so u need 2 fork seals lol, 1 fork seal is about $8 so like $20, but i wld suggest u take it 2 a mechanic, bc its kinda confusing, but idk wat im gonna do!

  • If you keep a bike for any length of time, new plastic are a must. They fade and bend and you just gotta replace every now and then. As far as the foot pegs go, I would replace the spring and file the teeth and that should be good. If you replace the peg altogether, check aftermarket first. Usually cheaper. Suspension: need to upgrade for you weight. Springs and fluid. If you are going to rebuild the rear shock, be sure to have a experienced tech do that for you. It is not an easy task to handle

  • @MXwrencher idk, bc its a 89.. so i want 2 get a newer 1 but im 15 so... i cant get a job, an my mom says she wants 2 get me a 125 an we have a lot of money, but idk....
