I just heard Robin on Jazz fm in Toronto...I held onto the pen and paper to make sure I caught her name because she pulled me right in! She sounds like one of the ladies from the good ole days, ladies like Dinah Washington, Peggy Lee and Doris Day and young Ella.....you need lots of years to sound like Ella. There are lots of ladies out there with pretty voices impeccable craft and musicality but this voice is classic. Apt name for the album, Modern Antique. She is an instant classic.
