I have the 2 disc special edition and it shows at the end when they find dryland the camera zoom in on a plate that says "MOUNT EVEREST" on it.

And at one point Gregor says "The Poles, they were reversed!" and he switches them compared to the original lat. and long. markings south means north and north means south.

They pretty much explain it, you just have to look in the right places =)

Does anyone feel like there should be A Mad Max Epic Stunt Spectacular Show, you know it'll be like either something in between Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular, & The Waterworld Stunt Show, or like one of them, and we'll be seeing either just showing Scenes from Mad Max 2 like The Indiana Jones show, or even have a new plot with Max returning to the Refinery, which is once again Plagued by The Lord Humongous & his second in command, Wez and there whole gang of Road Warriors, anyone agree e?

I work like right next to the batman stunt show at Magic Mountain, and this is SUCH a better performance then that piece of crap. The Batman show is almost entirely prerecorded lines. The Waterworld show is longer, has actual actors voicing lines, and even all the funny shit you see in this vid at the beginning.

Magic Mountain may have the other parks beat coaster wise, but no one does stuntshows like Universal. They are the best.

This is such a substandard replacement of the Miami Vice show, but the actors and effects are mostly great.

I never saw the Miami Vice show, so I can't really comment there, but remember this video was taken fairly soon after Waterworld reopened, and there were still a decent amount of kinks that had to be worked out. In my opinion, they've made the show better now.

Yeah I have a strong feeling that it'll be here for a while because 1). It's always full at every performance I've been to and 2). It just reopened in April after Universal poured a bunch of money into refubishing the entire stadium. I've been hearing that rumor too...hopefully it's not true!

Awesome! Yeah it was hard trying to figure out where to end the first part, but I thought that would be a nice cliffhanger while you wait for part 2 to load! ;) Have fun at Universal! Make sure to meet the cast...they usually head over to the exit after the show is over (well, the part of the exit that is INSIDE the stadium, not outside).

Thanks for reminding me! I forgot to put the actors' names as tags, I'll get right on that! Yeah, he's a great Deacon. I'm in love with the show, and this was one of the best performances ever (with my favorite Deacon and Mariner).
