The total amount spent by Government on asylum seekers in the past five years totals €1.275 billion, of which €423 million was spent on direct provision.
Can't wait to get over to Ireland! Have never been outside of Australia, I think it's about time hahaa. And watching these videos kinda reminds me of watchin a home video, very simialr culture in a way =]
@JFM135 shut the fuck up you spa you dont have a fucking glue about our traditions, the irish have a far more rich culture than that shit hole your from, our music and poetry is regarded as some of the best in the world ever here of oscar wilde?? what about w.b yeats?? so go fuck yourself asshole
If I wanted to like visit Ireland would all the people like hate me because I'm an American, I just want to see all the beautiful country sides, but I'm afraid that if a college kid like me walks into a pub I'll have like everyone hate me...I would like to go this June.
Just noticed your post about going to Ireland. You have the wrong idea completely about how you would be treated in Ireland. You would be welcomed with open arms in any pub. My advice would be to stay away from the tourist trail so that you get an honest flavour of the country.
Thanks for all your comments guys, I can tell from your comments alone that people from Ireland are a kind bunch ;-) I actually already planned my trip, and I'll be flying in to Dublin June 6th for a week vacation, I can't wait to visit some pub's lol
u would not be hated... we aint racist fool... we are all people.. and if u walk in to ye local pub, u a drinker like the rest of us so you be welcome
if you walked into a pub in ireland you will leave with friends for life!! as long as you dont make a scene or get on the wrong side of someone you will be fine :)
It will be like walking into any other bar in the world. If you are a sound guy and communicate well with people and have a bita craic you will be grand.

I once went into an Irish pub and was lucky to witness a glassing.
Some Lepracaun was getting leary with this gangsters girl, so he rapped a bottle of Magners round his head.
Apparently, he only had Magners because they had run out of Bullmers

That is Tigh Coili in Galway and not Sinnots in Dublin. Ronan o'Flaherty is behind the bar.
