very good video as well as aircraft power did it beautifully flew hope that African Greys Modelers will be a lot (I also buy chcy 1:1 model) and I'm sorry for what chibi is mounted in the Holt text, we can not write it :-)
the later B29's were equipped with methanol and nitrous oxide injection to give the engines twice the horsepower. This was the answer to an enguagement with a Hitler era fighter jet. Having this much horsepower allowed the pilot to fly the bomber in this fashon to evade these aircraft and shoot them down. Basically to dogfight fighter aircraft giving us air dominance over Europe.
@sparks1504 toy. Not a bomber, a toy. The funny thing is with all the money these guys dump nto these things they could just about buy a small airplane.
Nothin' special about that... Tex Johnston did that with the prototype Boeing 707 (the 367-80) over a crowd on Lake Washington in Seattle. Managed to keep his job as well.
I was at Hodges hobbies just this week. The video really doesnt do the field any justice...its huge! The nicest field I've ever seen. His hobby shop is really nice too...everything a rc flyer needs.
Typical power guy whos clueless. Most power clubs are just old men who cant fly and are so incredibly abusive their own kids wont even talk to them. I know this cause they have confided in me. Plus their negative talk was apparent. Avoid Gas clubs. They will rip you off money wise if you fly electric. Runway use was denied.
I know I wouldn't risk that much money doing aerobatics. And I suspect that some old B-29 flyers would find the images a little disturbing. Nice plane though.
I'm no expert by any means (just a spectator), but being a hobbyist of other miniature scale vehicles (trains), I'd wager that something like that costs upwards of $1000, very likely more. Once, I saw a gasoline powered formula 1 race car for $2,799. So, stuff like that isn't cheap by any means. Plus, you really need to have proficient maintenance skills, and control of the plane. And obviously, you need a lot of extra money to maintain a hobby like that.
very spectacular what i've just saw. the plane flying upside down, would that really be possible for a real plane???

@sparks1504 because its funny when you switch to bigger engines, go into a flatspin, try to recover and rip off the wing, and then crash the plane!

B-29 were the air monster to japs during 1945.
When Jap soliders saw them they cried, "ten log, ten log, man died, man died, man died."
Of course they walked to their tombs because they sarted the war first !

Can't do that with the real thing. I'm surprised how well that plane handles.
