When the Allies won, Britain was given control of the Arab lands. The Brits created most of the countries in the middle east. They gave the vast majority of the land to Arabs. They agreed to give a small area for the Jews. Then they gave 80% of that to the Arabs and called it Jordan. The 20% left they gave to the Jews. The UN ratified it.

The area of Israel was part of a territory in the Ottoman Empire known as the Vilayet of Syria. When Britain took it over after WWII it called the area Transjordan. It originally was going to give it all to Jewish rule but in the end gave the Arabs 80% (Jordan) & the Jews 20% (Israel). So it is nothing like your situation in Belgium. Do you understand that?

The ultimate state of niddah is death, for in death you are completely separated from God since you are totally unconscious. During the period a woman is bleeding because a potential life didn't begin hence she's niddah.

When the Allies won, Britain was given control of the Arab lands. The Brits created most of the countries in the middle east. They gave the vast majority of the land to Arabs. They agreed to give a small area for the Jews. Then they gave 80% of that to the Arabs and called it Jordan. The 20% left they gave to the Jews. The UN ratified it.

The area of Israel was part of a territory in the Ottoman Empire known as the Vilayet of Syria. When Britain took it over after WWII it called the area Transjordan. It originally was going to give it all to Jewish rule but in the end gave the Arabs 80% (Jordan) & the Jews 20% (Israel). So it is nothing like your situation in Belgium. Do you understand that?

Actually the Jews had many names =) Hebrews (which is also a name of language) was one of their names (Abrahams = Hebrews = "Ivrim") if I'll translate it to English. The Hebrews/Israelites were already referred to as "Jews" in later books of the Tanakh such as the Book of Esther with the term Jews replacing the "Children of Israel". So even before there were two Jewish kingdoms the followers of Abraham were known as the Jews. Abraham, having started Judaism, is rightly referred to as the first Jew.

@eamonearly Niddah in Hebrew means "moved (i.e. separated)". It is a state in which one is separated on some level from God. The ultimate state of niddah is death, for in death you are completely separated from God since you are totally unconscious. And anytime you come in close contact with death you are niddah, such as when you go to a cemetery, which is why Jews wash their hands after being in one. During the period a woman is bleeding because a potential life didn't begin hence she's niddah.

And after a week goes by (symbolic of the 7 days of creation) she immerses in a ritual bath and is symbolically reborn and the niddah ends. Now she has been sanctified and is ready again to create life. You may not want to adopt this lifestyle but I think it is far from filthy and is actually beautiful and holy.

Let me say for the record that I feel that people have a right to their beliefs. If someone wants to be a Christian, a Muslim, a Buddhist, a Satanist... whatever they want to believe is their right. But when people have as part of their belief system that Jews are somehow inferior, blind, rejected, etc. then it is my right to oppose those beliefs. There will never be peace as long as people enshrine in dogma negative stereotypes about others. When a faith promotes bigotry, that faith is harmful.
