He's implying if the Pope owned a disco, no one would dance, because Gay people are apparently the first to start dancing at discos, and as the Pope hates gays, no gays would show up, ergo, no one would be dancing.

Doesn't necessarily mean no one would be there, just that no one would dance.

The people he was with were embarrassed and apologized to everyone around them for the guy. They even went as far as to say he wasn't really their friend. Tim rocked though, next time I'm just buying better seats.
