Yeah, Jessica is bad enough, but a gay couple spending their hnneymoon in Africa? Give me a break! Aren't the writers aware of how the vast majority of countries there regard gay people? Very similar to the way they were regarded and treated in Germany's Third Reich! If the writers aren't stupidly insensitive to this situation, then the only excuse that they have is that this is an evil scheme being planned by Jessica to get rid of Chrolli. Give us all a break, already!
Watching that spinning globe scene reminds me of OLTL when Stacey/Gigi and Cutter were picking a place to stay. Gosh Jessica is such a pain, I don't care if she was thinking for Chrolli own benefits, I think it was her way of making up to them for ruining their first marriage. I've noticed people either love Chris and diss Ollie, or visa versa. The only thing I don't like about Christian and Oliver's relationship is Jessica! I so wish she would go away. But, the writers aren't listening to my thought screams. =[

Stop bitching about how it's boring. I want to be bored for a while. I can't stand the drama and heartbreak they brought us through the past eight months. If it means I'm bored to tears, I don't care, so long as Chrolli are happy, even if it's mundane. I'm more concerned that Chrolli are getting pushed into the background and we won't be seeing them for a while. That's clearly what the Meppen storyline is about. Cut wedding, no night, no honeymoon. They're shifting them out.

I will always love Chrolli, however the story-line went downhill after the first marriage. 100 parts dedicated to boring barns and horse scenes plus the sabotage of Christian! Why make him look like a complete cheat VL writers? It's like they WANT to get rid of Chrolli. Not saying there was a couple of good videos after their first marriage, but it isn't as thrilling as before. And and killing off Olivia and replacing her with Jessica DID NOT HELP! I miss Olivia, Gregor and even Coco.
christian always is doing what olli wants...he is unable to say no to olli, Even when they were spinning the globe, Olli wanted to spin again, Chris said No! and then He let Olli spin again! it seems olli is a kind of commander there ...
I agree with everyone about what I am seeing after 4 years of seeing what is the most believable gay couple, and I am able to listen to German. I lost use of my vocal chords and speak via 4 years training of my epiglottis (Laryngeal Dystonia mit Parkinsons). It has been my escape when my fiancee broke our relationship. It doesn’t matter to many, but its absurdity was overlooked and it gave me hope that I would find love in my life like theirs. I’m just a fool with hope.

For instance, in the United States because the health care system is for profit, you can buy gametes (ova and sperm), where as in Canada it is a grey area. It is illegal to buy and sell gametes, but you can use donor eggs from a "benevolent" giver. In Germany, because of its history, neither is legal (buying or "giving"). There are many gay and lesbian reproductive tourists from Germany in Canada.
It's bad enough that VL cut out the exchanging of their rings, nevermind the whole wedding night lovefest that obviously went on...and now it looks like they won't have a honeymoon because of Olli's mother's accident?! @Dreamstrikers I couldn't agree more! Maybe it's not the writers, but the sponsors? Or the more important actors who don't like the atention that Chrolli gets? If you notice in the opening credits, one has barely the time to see Christian and Olli, other characters haev more air time or even show up twice... In any case I'm feeling very sad, Mercury May leaving and this stuff happening at the same time...all very sad...
I only check in with this storyline very rarely. This time has made me ridiculously happy. Those two were meant for each other. I couldn't stand the idea of them not being together.
@FabianWilliam I agree. Has their been any articles about the actors, in German or English? I know here in the UK there is a need to create characters like Chrolli. Here the characters are all tragic, with a 'sell by’ date, affirming that same sex relationships are impossible, Someone dies, their fey relationship sees the butch leave them, or they are shuffled off of the show. There is something about Chrolli I identify with, and I am able to watch in German without subtitles.
@kcl508 When the twin absorption is not complete, or when the two embryos have two different genders what often happens is hermaphroditism (inter-sexed people, or people with two different sets of genitalia). Most of the time, when one embryo absorbs another, no one can ever tell unless a DNA test is done. In that case, your blood DNA maybe different from the DNA in your kidneys. Interesting eh? So, nature can and does create babies that biologically have two fathers, it's just very rare.

Anyway, the question came up whether two men could biologically create a child--conventional science: NO! Crazy Idea. In Reality: It does happen. When there are two fertilized eggs, one embryo dies, and the other embryo absorbs it. (One mother possibly two fathers). This is called human chimeraism. You see it when people have two different eye colours, or strange hairlines.

I know I'm in the minority, but I really like Jessica. Yes, she's clueless...and slightly deranged, but she does have a good heart, even if she's very misguided! And what she did during this episode was because she cares for Chrolli.
@ravensboro me three I do like her its refreshing to have such a selfish self absorbed person around in the flat share and I thought she was really funny today she tried to do a nice thing but it just showed her lack of morals. Loved Jessica and Andi in No Limits they were both very funny.

@ravensboro Yes we agree I think after all that happened with her and Tristan and she was on her own everyone abandoning her she wants to keep on Olli's good side. Also she needs him as they are working together on the 'incest' campaign. But yeah she does care about Chrolli because she cares about Olli and he is happiest with Christian. @WkElvis Visit AWZ since Roman's death and you won't recognize the soap. It's a three-ring circus. The German soap community must be very small and live in tight quarters: once one batch of writers gets a "bug", it becomes epidemic. Sooner or later, all the soaps come down with the same symptoms.
I heard Deniz is straight again. After Roman's death I can't even visit, not temporarily even. I miss my Ro too bad. I can't stand what all these writers keep doing to these stories.
@CzarriaAfdemaur I don't visit the soap either. DeRoAA provides synopses of the episodes. I read them. It seems Deniz is headed in that direction. So far the writers have made his reversion to heterosexuality merely a dream sequence. Deniz was so freaked by both the dream and his physiological response to it that he visited Roman's grave in penance. He hasn't figured prominently since But you can be sure the AWZ writers are itching to make his homosexuality a phase--yet again.

He is able to be friends and live with the women who maliciously accused him of rape and now he has no problem with his big brother dating the love of his life,that's saint material,not the Andi of years ago who really wouldn't live and let live- remember how horrible he was to Christian accusing him of theft.Really think VL are losing the plot
That Sluttica is even in the presence of Olli, Christian, Andi, or Helena is insulting, both to the characters & to the fans. They sent Rebecca off to New York. They should send Sluttica off to Kabul where she can make her living working as the self-absorbed whore that she is. She could finally find the fame she apparently craves--as a marathon sex worker.

Agree with every word that you said. It's clearly a rather shoddy attempt by the writers to rehabilitate the Jessica character by showing that if even Chrolli and Andi can be friendly with her after all that happened then she can't be a bad person but a malicious false accusation of rape can't just be shoved under the carpet. Worse she did it for money. Only a person with no moral compass could do such a thing and no one'd want to be friends with someone like that.

@WkElvis Yeh, she's a bummer. Her cluelessness and quirkiness have ceased to make her interesting. She seems to be playing gooseberry--a regular third wheel. I don't think the writers can decide what to do with the character and it shows.

@xadam2dudex Precisely....scams which are illegal, are a form of fraud. Both the IRS and BBB have regulations regarding charity frauds. Prosecution of these sorts of frauds is probably rare. But it's illegal nonetheless.

But then the two women wanted to contract everything. So Chrolli rejected their dream of a biological child. Maybe they can find another apartment in the house but they would be happy with their friends and child. An all this without rushing.

They need to resolve the issues that tended to destabilize their relationship--one of which was their differing opinions regarding the necessity for a child in their lives. Lilly marked the beginning of the end of their first marriage. What have they learned from their recent meltdown that leads you to believe a child would be anything but disruptive a second time? Olli's got a child--a convalescing mother to care for.
@xadam2dudex It is, actually, illegal to misrepresent the beneficiary of a fundraiser. There are a great number of people that are in jail for fraud and grand theft for fake fundraising for Hurricane Katrina. Huge scandals....

I agree with everyone about what I am seeing after 4 years of seeing what is the most believable gay couple, and I am able to listen to German. I lost use of my vocal chords and speak via 4 years training of my epiglottis (Laryngeal Dystonia mit Parkinsons). It has been my escape when my fiancee broke our relationship. It doesn’t matter to many, but its absurdity was overlooked and it gave me hope that I would find love in my life like theirs. I’m just a fool with hope.

@everettb100 Every country has it's own laws when it comes to surrogacy and reproductive tourism. For instance, in the United States because the health care system is for profit, you can buy gametes (ova and sperm), where as in Canada it is a grey area. It is illegal to buy and sell gametes, but you can use donor eggs from a "benevolent" giver. In Germany, because of its history, neither is legal (buying or "giving"). There are many gay and lesbian reproductive tourists from Germany in Canada.

@Dreamstrikers I couldn't agree more! Maybe it's not the writers, but the sponsors? Or the more important actors who don't like the atention that Chrolli gets? If you notice in the opening credits, one has barely the time to see Christian and Olli, other characters haev more air time or even show up twice... In any case I'm feeling very sad, Mercury May leaving and this stuff happening at the same time...all very sad...

@FabianWilliam I agree. Has their been any articles about the actors, in German or English? I know here in the UK there is a need to create characters like Chrolli. Here the characters are all tragic, with a 'sell by’ date, affirming that same sex relationships are impossible, Someone dies, their fey relationship sees the butch leave them, or they are shuffled off of the show. There is something about Chrolli I identify with, and I am able to watch in German without subtitles.

@kcl508 When the twin absorption is not complete, or when the two embryos have two different genders what often happens is hermaphroditism (inter-sexed people, or people with two different sets of genitalia). Most of the time, when one embryo absorbs another, no one can ever tell unless a DNA test is done. In that case, your blood DNA maybe different from the DNA in your kidneys. Interesting eh? So, nature can and does create babies that biologically have two fathers, it's just very rare.

Anyway, the question came up whether two men could biologically create a child--conventional science: NO! Crazy Idea. In Reality: It does happen. When there are two fertilized eggs, one embryo dies, and the other embryo absorbs it. (One mother possibly two fathers). This is called human chimeraism. You see it when people have two different eye colours, or strange hairlines.

@WkElvis Visit AWZ since Roman's death and you won't recognize the soap. It's a three-ring circus. The German soap community must be very small and live in tight quarters: once one batch of writers gets a "bug", it becomes epidemic. Sooner or later, all the soaps come down with the same symptoms.

@CzarriaAfdemaur I don't visit the soap either. DeRoAA provides synopses of the episodes. I read them. It seems Deniz is headed in that direction. So far the writers have made his reversion to heterosexuality merely a dream sequence. Deniz was so freaked by both the dream and his physiological response to it that he visited Roman's grave in penance. He hasn't figured prominently since But you can be sure the AWZ writers are itching to make his homosexuality a phase--yet again.

It's clearly a rather shoddy attempt by the writers to rehabilitate the Jessica character by showing that if even Chrolli and Andi can be friendly with her after all that happened then she can't be a bad person but a malicious false accusation of rape can't just be shoved under the carpet. Worse she did it for money. Only a person with no moral compass could do such a thing and no one'd want to be friends with someone like that.

But then the two women wanted to contract everything. So Chrolli rejected their dream of a biological child. Maybe they can find another apartment in the house but they would be happy with their friends and child. An all this without rushing.
