this is a very good animation i am realy glad i have watched it... i like the mixture of moral and humor. i am sure this story would have been very popular in communist russia.
@rougeredmage actually its from ancient greece. And the Stork could also be a metaphor for the Wellfare State. "Oh please ye mighty, send us a King that would make our life pleasant" hehe ;)
Some of this footage is used nicely in the 1990s film BASQUIAT, with background music by Van Morrison and Them performing "It's All Over Now Baby Blue"

This was described in the book Stop Motion: Craft Skills for Model Animation by Susannah Shaw. © 2004. It's a great book on beginning Stop Motion!!!!
