From what I hear, Chuck was admired by her, and she just said that to get screen time or something, as a joke, because everyone loves Chuck there! When Bob talks to the audience during commercial break timings, Jill must have raised her hand and asked Bob a question, well, mostly informing him about the romance between her and Chuck. Maybe she wasn't looking for screen time through that, but Bob found it amusing and stopped Rich from calling the next contestant.
