One question, as a Breton does the magic resistance count against dragon breath? I mean I read on the wiki that the breath is a shout, so any knowledge about this?

Redguard starts with like 25 one handed vs Breton 15 but that doesn't matter at all either way your one handed or w.e will end up at 100 just as easily. all that matters is the races passive skills because all race "once a day" magic skill suck. and as a warrior magic is your worst enemy so Breton 25% resistance passive RAPES. plus level alteration to 70 and get the perk that blocks 30% of spells so now you are 50% resistant to all magic. Use lord stone as well.

best way to be a badass is to be a kajhiit and to use only your fists with that perk in heavy armor to get a bonus according to what armor your wearing and to enchant it with that guys gloves from the rat way... punch everything to death and be a fucking badass!
I love how nobody notices that High elves have the biggest scale out of all the races. Higher scale means you are taller, faster, and have a bigger weapon. A high elf with a greatsword can literally slice people to death while enemies miss with their weapons. Think of it like holding a kids head while he fails at punching you because he's so small. That's how good high elves are compared to all other races in melee combat.
My dark knight warrior (he wears deadaric armor) is a Breton & is a freaking tank with almost 1,000 armor rating & 85% magic resistance (with the lord stone). Best battle mage/hybrid warrior. I use the alteration perk of 30% magic absorption but still gives 30% summoning failure but still better than 50%.
Little know fact. High Elves do the most melee damage than any other race if a weapon has a base damage of 50 then for a male high elf would do 54. As it seems the sprint speed, jump height and weapon damage is affected by the height of your character.
Coz I'm a good archer I'm a wood elf I use mainly an ancient nord bow for everything I killed my first dragon getting headshots wiv it by the way I'm level 5 xD only got game 2 days ago
My Breton has the Lord Stone, Agent of Mara, and Alteration Magic Resistance 2/3. That makes 85% Magic Resistance which is the cap. That's without any enchantments or items. I can run around naked with 85% Magic Resistance xD I shouldn't even have to mention 100 Heavy Armour, Enchanting, Smithing, and the Benefactor perk in Alchemy. And that is why Breton's are UNSTOPPABLE ;) Silly people thinking otherwise, open your eyes :)
well if you go breton and get the lord standing stone you get 50% magic resistance and 50 base armor and you you putt points into atteration you get 80% magic resist and 30% magic absorb making you pretty much immune to magic dmg without sacrificing any enchant slots... and the magic resist cap is 85% so going breton is pretty much the best option

Actually....for warrior is best Orc and Redgard,Orc is better in blacksmithing and he level up faster heavy armor,Redgard is better in leveling weapon skills (one hand,dual...).Bretons are hybrid-like,their only good for warrior is that dragon skin but anything else is just crap.
@PandarenMonkAgin It depends, because you can armor cap easily in this game. You cant magic resist cap as easy without sacrificing a lot of enchant slots to get there. With my +25% magic resist that opens up another +42% fortify 2 hander enchant for me to dominate anything. End game, it all sorta doesnt matter as you can one shot pretty much anything if you build your character right.

Because you can train it very easy and specialy the Orc boosts make an couple daggers and enchant the and you have almoast the same stats. You can't die with hitskin. I got skyrim for christmas, i had a level 42 with 100 in smithing, enchantment, pick pocket, and sneak. i wanted to make a new charactor, perferably a warrior, so i made a new game and made one, just to find out you can only have one charactor on ps3... fml.
@xXBattlefield14Xx having a crapload of magic registance doesn't suck, since mages are the biggest threat in the game. The breton tank is the indirect op tank in the game. I've tested this, it works well.
@xXBattlefield14Xx redguards really only have increased stamina and it only says bretons are for magic but they are the most well rounded characters in the game if you want to rollplay choose redguard if you take math and actual fact into it breton is the best
Personally I like redguards they start with the perfect stats for me and I go them in every other game, if not them then dark elf just because morrowind is ace!
I was a Imperial because I wanted to be warrior and magician, but I chagend my mind and I ended up just as a warrior, but I think that thief/warrior char would be the most fun of them all, unfortunately I have played almost 50 hours, so changing is not a option right now
@IceShot42 same here, I had 60 hours playtime, and wanted to start a new game just to try the different races, like orc because I wanted to be warrior only, not did I know that my character with 60 hours playtime would be erased when I started a new game. I wish they had put up a warining or something, and why can't we have more than just one character.
@IceShot42 thats probably the reason, I bet it is only possible to have multiple characters on PC. W/E I builded up my character again, better than last time, full daedric on myself and my companion, and 100k+ money.

Berserker Rage is just end game. My Orc is specced into 2h maces with enchants, throw out Rage and you are unstoppable.

Orc is the best for warrior. Smithing is enhanced as Orcs, and they have berserker rage. and like @dmfitzsmon said bretons are gay :/

Orcs are the best warriors you get a power that makes you do double damage and only take half damage.. and if u also unlock the werewolf power ur most likely impossible to kill..

Because you can train it very easy and specialy the Orc boosts make an couple daggers and enchant the and you have almoast the same stats. You can't die with hitskin. Sure beserker rage i cool too :D. You know that you can mod the tail.

guys when you start a game you have some different choices. each of them have some talents in that and that. but remember guys this is SKYRIM. the elders scrolls man. you are suposed to be a warrior or mage or even a archer, but that doesnt choose wich race you should pick. like if you want to be a baddas warrior but you also thinks the argonian is cool then why the fuck pick other races just because you want to be a better warrior. just do what you feel for :)

@xXBattlefield14Xx having a crapload of magic registance doesn't suck, since mages are the biggest threat in the game. The breton tank is the indirect op tank in the game. I've tested this, it works well.

I was a Imperial because I wanted to be warrior and magician, but I chagend my mind and I ended up just as a warrior, but I think that thief/warrior char would be the most fun of them all, unfortunately I have played almost 50 hours, so changing is not a option right now

I wish they had put up a warining or something, and why can't we have more than just one character.
