Wow, this was some time ago. EastEnders will always be the best soap. Stats show in the British Soap Awards that EastEnders is the only soap to win 3 consecutive best soap award wins.

EastEnders is a 8 time best soap winner whereas Coronation Street is a 4 time best soap winner.

Emmerdale, Hollyoaks and Doctors have not won this main award at all.
