Does the fact that power series work has anything to do with the study of series and higher mathematics or can it be demonstrated using only single variable calculus knowledge and he didn't do it because we got lazy or something? I would like to know.

When he presents Taylor's formula, it's not quite correct because the formula he presents is for MacLaurin Series since it is centered at 0.

I think Prof Jerison mixed up the Hare with the Tortoise in this one. The Hare is the one playing catchup, not the Tortoise (in the original, it was Archilles trying to catch up with the the Tortoise).

Nice videos, good exam reviews. Too bad interval of convergence wasn't covered, R can be easily found by the Ratio test most of the time so it was surprising to see it not covered.
