As far as I know, with Systema Turbo and Magnum you should use only a battery up to 9.6v. But you are going to use that motor and spring I recommend that you check if the spring-guide, piston, gears and piston head are strong enough to endure the strength of the Magnum motor.
nice gun. i want to buy a A&K or echo 1 m249 saw and upgrade the gearbox, motor. and barrel. i want to get the Systema Turbo motor for it but idk what i should upgrade in the gearbox to make sure it won't break. i was thinking maybe a aluminum piston and high speed gears. do i need anything else??
@airsoftpro808 No. Please do not use a Aluminium Piston, until youre for like M210 Springs. because they gonna crackyoure Gearbox as they are very high Weight. Go for a Light Weight Polymer Piston with Steel Teth and springguide (bearing!!!) As well as a good Piston head
@UnFortunateSon1 11.1 is equal to about 20v of a normal battery, so i would maybe find a 10.8, and if you are aiming for hi fps or hi ROF you can message me and i can give you advice on what to get. im really good with that kind of stuff
Hey man I was going to get one of these systema turbo gearbox sets. I heard that the systema red pistons are shit, so I'm going to replace that. But how's the rest of it holding up?
Hey, it does not come with the red piston (mine came with the black one). And I've had no problems at all with any part from this gearbox set, it has been running smooth ever since I installed it in my gun.
ok i am gonna get a CA m15a4 airsoft gun and i was wondering what type of battery i should use. is this one good?9.6V 4500mAh High Power Hump NiMH Battery Pack for RC Cars with Tamiya Connector
you may have a hard time fiting a hump pack in that gun. well at least i did. i ended up velcrowing to the fore end. besides that its a great battery for the gun
hey, i have a CA M41 MC51 and am thinking about whether to put a systema tight bore in it. how well did it improve accuracy and how much of a minor boost in fps did it provide?
My friend has a CA gun (2 actually M4/M16). He has one with torque up motor/gears and one with speed motor/gears. With his 12v battery and 130 spring we measured his rate of fire to be low 50s (no joke). Shame it doesnt work for more than 30 minutes before it has to be repaired.
The motors in both are fine but the speed is ripping the teeth off of his pistons and he's worried about using metal teeth piston b/c of the stress on his systema gears. This among other problems...
lol, he was thinking about getting a overthrow set-up just so he could get BBs out the front of his 6.01 barrel before they got sucked back in from the next piston draw. He went against that and just had me cut it down to 510mm, sad day.
thank's for the tip, I'm thinkin' if a higher voltage battery, or some other battery would give me a better ROF, but I'm actually quite happy with the mAh (4500 :D ),
can ca33e gun up to or pass 150ft?

@airsoftpro808
Bearing spring guide, good piston/piston head, sector gear clip and a magnum motor should set you up pretty good.
The magnum is almost as fast as the turbo and will give you more torque and much better trigger response.
Do not get a aluminium piston for a high speed set up. A good composite one with all metal teeth is what you need.
BTW. Echo 1 m249's are just rebranded A&K's, so get which ever one is cheapest.

sounds like a good battery, and i don't recomend any voltage above 9.6v ;)

Systema barrels are great! Fps boost? that usualy depends on the barrel's lenght, but usualy you get up to 15fps or so...

sorry dude, it's the camera. the gun sounds great :D

I think that Systema only recommends 9.6v battery, or less. I maybe it was just to much stress (12v + m130).

I'm really hoping that he short stroked his piston...

the rof wasnt that high. try using a differnet battery or changing the spring to a m100, the systema turbo isnt for springs over a m100
dcxSpartan117 3 years ago
the battery wasn't fully charged ;)
the ROF is quite high using a 9.6v battery from Intellect.
