  • Very beautiful, bravo! And I'm sure the King enjoyed it :)

  • watch?v=eHvl5CqkMG8

  • one word: great

(and you really should do a professional recording and start to sell your music!)

  • so so nice! I love it.

  • glad to see one of my favorite youtube pianists is still making good music and videos on here. Whatever happened to Volvoxburger? I used to watch you, Volvo's, and lot2learn's videos everyday... sometimes hours at a time. Ahh good times.

  • Not to sound trivial but your setupis very classy. The lamp is a really nice touch =)

  • Inspired! You play it with your heart. There are so much feelings in this 9 parts. =)

Great piano by the way. :)

  • wow, this is great :-)

  • Good channel... Good player... Good time...

    THANKS...

  • Your sir, are the man.

    Thank you.

  • reminds me of On Golden Pond, one of Dave Grusin's best! It's also got that cool wind-up music box feel, great work, although the theme may be a little buried, but I hear it restated a few times but always in variations, leaving the chords to be the theme instead of relying on the melodic hook, E Eb E etc.

  • Most composers would opt for the easier and more familiar Eb and Cm, but E and C#m have a nice sound.

  • very nice

  • This is beautiful! A stunning and mesmerising juxtaposition of beautiful harmonies and wonderfully executed melodic lines. One of your best, Tom!

  • @musicalrt I appreciate it, Thx.

  • Stunning! Inspired! I Laughed, I Cried!.... no but seriously, I laughed , i cried! truly beautiful work. i enjoyed it a great deal. Blessings

  • @zurckoni Thanks you so much!

  • Bella musicalità....Nice

  • Nice Playing Sir! I never cared to play much in E Major but that has now changed. Very melodic and Very "Bach-ish". Beautiful playing. I enjoyed it.

  • yes,....Nicely done Tom.. This was a great post for the end of a long day.

    Blessings

  • I used to watch this instructional video of Joe Pass over and over agian because it's so amazing to watch a musician improvise alone, not on an official release. I will be watching this OVER and OVER. keep more videos like this coming!

  • Yes -I got that message also

    and tried it out

    But way from your professionalism

wow - this is really great

Also , - it's so much more enjoyable to do than just reproduct an existing song

Thumbs UP and you have over 600 in two days -

    Wow

  • Great!!!!!

  • There's such a beautiful sadness in this. Like coming home after being away for too long. I can neither confirm nor deny whether I almost cried. :-P

Seriously though - someone needs to use this in a movie...

  • Psalm 2011

  • I consider these to be the American Jazz equivalent of the Inventions :) Bravo!

  • I like this a lot. I like the way you toy with the listener by not letting them have that root note when they want it! Haha! Beautiful, sir.

  • I am deeply moved by your beautiful playing and I am glad there is music on this world!

  • Congratulations on the limit lifting!

Have fun toying around with it! Though it seems you already are ;)

  • Really wonderful Tom - and such unfamiliar territory (at least it is for me!) in C# minor/ E Major.

  • A great sense of calm, very beautiful

  • thank you for uploading it, i enjoy listen to your playing ;)

  • Simply grandiose and poetic Tom!

  • @DianArtemis1972 Thank you so much, DA.

  • Very nice! I am reminded of when Bach improvised for the King! I think you are doing the same. Your King just lives a little farther away! Thanks! I enjoyed it very much!!! You are a gifted and well developed talent and a true artist!

  • @2259269587 I really liked that. Thanks, 225.

  • Wow. I'm speechless after just the first few minutes. Thank you.

  • @jacarey5 Thank you so much!

  • this is the background music to everything i do right now. thanks.

  • This is fantastic. It's very impressive that you are improvising seamlessly with a contra punctual approach. WOW!

Must be tough not to modulate though:)
