In mine I don't have that tab any more... registration tab is not there any more... I have quicktime 10.1 2009-2011... is there a solution for that ? thanks

Anyways, I can't seem to open quicktime in system preferences. It keeps saying "You cant open QuickTime preferences because it doesnt work on an Intel-based Mac." and I just had snow leopard installed on my macbook. Any ideas why this is so??

i don't really know what this problem could be

but try deleting quicktime and re downloading it
