I love how Meryl Streep and Stanley Tucci seem to feed off eacother's energy; it's amazing the results that you get when you put such great actors into roles like the ones in Julie and Julia.

I was amazed by how good this movie was

I will admit I am quite young for my age

and I had no interest in seeing this movie

(I also had no clue who Julia Child was)

but my mother forced me to watch it and i LOVED it I was like WOW :D meryl is a very good actress and so is Stanley :]

yes just rented the movie and agree completely. Just wanted the Meryl scenes. Amy's character was boring and milky boring...

Normally Amy Adams is a good actress but Meryl is sooo brilliant that she just over powers Amy, and you can't help but wish the movie would go back to Meryl and not so much to Amy. Meryl has the ability to make a good supporting actor/actress look a bit mediocre.

my friend went to go see julie and julia and she DID NOT wanna go but she was forced and she wound up LOVING it!! hm... the power of Meryl. gotta love her! seriously how can you not?? I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE IT! :D

I don't think it's possible for Tucci to steal the show from Ms. Streep, but he was excellent. Look for him to get an Best Supporting Actor Oscar nod next winter. He's that good and it's a great film.
