  • i like japan glish its cute

  • What is wrong with let's?

  • Konami Sports club? wow! Konami in Canada/US is a video game company mainly.

  • as a japanese, i give a big praise you that you enjoy them as just it is.

it says no depreciation on us. thats why we can enjoy watching them without embarassing.

  • And Kitchenroom! xD

  • Is there any opurtunities in Japan for me helping them think these up?

  • So is all of the English for the benefit of foreigners, or is reading English a fairly widespread skill among Japanese? (If so, feeling a bit inadequate at the moment).

  • "Danger comes soonest when it's despised" Lol how true!

  • I had no idea they had Circle K's in Japan

  • Strange things are afoot at the Circle K @ 0:58

  • Here is a question that popped in my mind..what abou pets?...in all your outside videos i don't see people walking there dogs..Here of course you see it everywhere..is having a dog popular in japan like it is in the states?..on my subscrition list i have 2 that's from japan and it's strickly about there cats..By watching there videos you can tell how well they take good care of them..one is a scotish fold..(which i never heard of before)

  • Silly videos are silly.

  • Reminds of the game that has a famous saying. I wonder if it would've be improved if it said instead, "All your base LET'S belong to us!" LOL :-p

  • I'm very addicted to point and click games and the japanese ones using japanglish always make me a happy clicker!!!!

  • Seems like they use English as decorations? hehe

  • they have circle K's over there? I had no idea they were that widespread

  • this egg sandwich is yummy lets taste it haha good enough for me yum

  • google translator?

  • You should read some of the japanese tattoos people have that say ridiculous shit and they don't know it....

  • Ur a genius, thanks

  • Awesome. Let Japan be Japan.

  • hahahha!!!

  • * In case of Bad Weather such as storm, "fain" <----?? is it suppose to be "rain"......sorry, I was trying to help out. I wasn't try to make fun of misspelling a word..

  • haha so funny! ive seen on the label packaging of chop sticks at a local sushi bar... "welcome to japanese resturants, please use the chopsticks happily" lol

  • I can almost perfectly read this one:

"A terrific Gust often overtakes three times consecutively. Keep yourself lying flat on the slope until it's completely blown over. Danger comes soonest when it's despised" That's either bad english, or Shakespearean English. I can't tell, never really thought Shakespeare was any good at English myself.

  • @jmt1000 Hahaha, that's funny, cause i wrote this comment when you said that if we wanted to read it we should stop it. And then when i finished the comment, you were saying it out loud. A That's Rich... 5 stars for coincidence!!!

  • Japan it's very trendy NOW. They fascinate me always .

  • Westerners are guilty of this too, Ive seen many a shirts with random katakana and kanji pasted together.

My favorite was a T-shirt my dad brought and the logo said "Big Man" (大きい男). I burst out laughing when I saw it and he didn't quite believe me at first.

  • @AuzzieGaijin

    Haha!

I have heard of worse TATTOOS!

  • Rule of thumb NEVER get a tattoo that you don\t thouroughly know what mean. In fact it would be wiser not to get any at all. (There are some videos on this channel about that somewere)

Besides whatever written might change meaning over time. Gay for an instance meant happy not to long ago...

  • ok..I'm still confused with the dalmation....thingy..Let's think about it somemore XD

    Hooray for kitchenroom ^^

  • 私は「putifresh」のお弁当箱を持っています。 japan-glishがあります。 「happy fruits is very delicious. I will eat this and will become fortunate all together!」を言います

  • Hurray for Let's!!!

  • :35, that is On-the-spot if you have a car that is eco-frendly.

  • so don't be using you tattoos xDDDDD

  • Oh, just in case you were interested, the reason that many establishments don't accept people with tattoos (apparantly some just don't accept people with particularly large tattoos) is because members of the Yakuza have large tattoos that denote their membership and status. Thus, it's their way of keeping the Yakuza out.

That's just what I heard. Not sure if it's correct or not.

  • @theshadow308

Have a look at our Tattoos video :-D

  • @theshadow308 tattooing is also a feature of Ainu culture :D

  • @theshadow308 thats correct

  • LMAO dalmation thing made me laugh so hard. but the tattoo thing made me smile =P "Please don't use your tattoo. You can wear it, but please do not use it."

  • Well, at least the words are spelled correctly even though the usage doesn't make sense for a lot of what they're saying.

BTW, you didn't know that American is a language? LOL Some Brits think so.

  • Yeah, American definitely became it's own language the moment we started spelling color without a u.

  • WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAY different than american advertising.

  • I love your videos man CHEERS!!! ( I am american, but I love the "Cheers" phrase ) But anyways please continue with the Japan-glish, love em!!

By the way what is said on the Egg Sandwich bag, I understand and can read the Tomago part, but I dont know what the 3 hiragana is after it... lol

  • it's "TamagoDOGGU"

Anyway, that's written in katakana =)

  • but "tamago" it's written in hiragana of courseXD

  • DOGGU is amerikanji right?

  • "amerikanji"?!?! what is that? loll...it's called "romaji", that is to say the transposition from japanese characters to latin characters. Hepburn romanization is the most used one.

    For ex

    DOGGU = romaji.

    ドッグ= katakana for "doggu".

  • So "American is a language now?

    :-D

    Maybe it is :-D

  • Sorry my bad I meant Romaji

  • Let's go do robot pizza fighting love, great action coming. Please do not disturb the watching of the movie filming.

  • It is with the trying hardest that it reaches the happiness to google translator :-D

  • Kitchenroom made my day...lol.

  • Let's go to the kitchenroom but before that let's go shopping :D

  • Let's enjoy shopping!!!!!!!!!

  • Let's speak japan-glish :)

  • japanese ppl doesnt need correct english, or at least correct enought to have a meaning, but if i owned a company and some japanese company was willing to sign some kind of contract - i wouldnt like such a meaningless posters etc from it....

  • i think they use the translators on the internet :D its normally just a random words that u get, cos translators takes the most common translation without logical meaning of a sentence....

  • I think you are right!

I have offered to help business people in Japan by checking English for them.. but they are not interested because they know their customers cant understand English very well, I think.

  • Maybe you have to look for an indirect way to offer your help. E.g. they don't say "no" to an invite, they say "that would be inconvenient" This makes me think "So when would it be convenient?" The real answer is "never." :) Nonetheless, you are supposed to know that means 'no'. So maybe you need to be more indirect? ... just my 2-bits worth.

  • Yeah, it has been on a number of occasions with a number of different people.

I have helped translate a menu and some other stuff.. but usually they really don't care... if the words sound cool to them, they are happy!

  • Hmm. Ask them if their translation is intended to be read by english-speaking customers. Try to get them to ask you if it is a worthy translation, so you can inhale through your teeth an tell them it's good.

    :)

  • Do the very thank to you for post of this video! It is the funny!

  • No, no, no..

    It's Engrish, people. ^_^

  • Well in the history of jappan, tatoos have been used to tag criminals thiefs idiots and shunned people. Now people when they get tatoo's on jappan do them while guided by the Lines of a Kimono, otherwise you see them.

They use the kimono as a baseline for normal clothes, so if it passes the line it means you can see it with normal clothes

  • A few years in Japan and this is what your English is going to be like!

  • It is not for the matter that a pleasant life is without a fear.. enjoy.. he will transpire happily!

    Let's harden!

  • lets blame google translator lol

  • Last year I went home for a couple of weeks..

while I was gone a Japanese friend sent a message with google translate:

"be like a baby to your parents and bring your old face back soon..."

It IS an old face, i guess!

  • ??????????

  • Let's watch more japan-glish!

  • hahaha... superb.

  • I'm sure that any of you guys who speak Japanese had problems with making grammatical correct sentences so don't laugh at Japanese english...

  • too late, i already did.

  • I'm sure my English isn't good but that's just hilarous!

    =]

  • ...how COULD you use a tattoo? xD

and " danger comes soonest when its despised " = win.

  • Don't use your tatto !

  • These japan-glish videos are amusing my favourite on this one was the dalmation window shade, it sounds like my 3 year old brother going off on his ramblings.
