To say one's an “MIT engineer” is to imply that one either teaches engineering at MIT or else otherwise worked for MIT as an engineer. Jeff King is not now nor has he ever been an MIT engineer (or research scientist), nor has he ever taught engineering or worked as an engineer for any university ever. He’s been a family doctor for at least 27 years and only received a joint biology/electrical engineering degree from MIT in 1974 to briefly work in medical devices before turning to medicine.

Investigators reconstruct airplanes to determine why they crashed and how to prevent failures in the future. Why would one expect them to reconstruct airplanes that are caught on camera smashing into buildings? "We've rebuilt the jets and found they were destroyed by hitting hard stuff."

Additionally, the claim that only $600k was spent on the investigation is probably the stupidest thing I've seen on UTube in a while. They probably spent that alone in overnight fees at the local Manhattan UPS.

@dallas71 The claim did not say "originally" but stated at 3:44 the "fact" that it was the "only" amount spent. This intentionally misleading lore is parroted, like many other 9-11 falsehoods and half-truths, to this day around the web (I just Googled it).

Norad was not even notified until 19 mins in to the event. Fighters do not scramble in mere seconds. By the time U 175 was about to hit the second tower the fighters were 150 miles out. And they had no idea where their targets even were.

There is reason Logan airport was chosen. Puts them 30 mins away from the WTC. Time was on their side big time

The thing that obviously points to controlled demolition is the collapse of building 7 and molten metal. Although there are multiple theories that can "possibly" explain the collapse of towers 1 and 2 there have been no convincing theories for the collapse of building seven. There has never been any accounts of a building collapsing from a fire before and building 7 wasn't even hit. Also, there were pools of molten metal under all three buildings for 6 weeks reported at 2000 degrees.

I just think it's kinda strange that the building just collapses tottally in just a few seconds, while just the upper levels of the building were damaged ? If steel melts at that heat then it would just damage the upper level constructions not ? And afterwards the building could collapse but not the way it did like on the video's that's just the way a building collapses when being demolitioned professionally

It is amazing how much evidence conspiracy theorists demand from the thousands of non-government individuals and entities that have studied this and come to the same conclusion that no government foul play was involved. Jeff King, a 60 year old former electrical engineer and more recently a Family Practice physician. I graduated from MIT with an SB degree in 1974, with a combined Biology-EE major, and before settling down to do clinical medicine I worked for about eight years in electronics and electro-mechanical engineering. Even if steel loses 90% of its carrying capacity, we would expect the lower levels, which had not lost their carrying capacity, to provide some resistance. There was no resistance though. The building collapsed at free fall speed. And the pancaking theory does not explain why the concrete and nearly all the contents of the offices were pulverized into a fine dust.

By "scrubbed very thoroughly," he obviously refers to the all the building materials that were hauled off site and recycled before they could be analyzed. As King states, NIST saved only some 200 pieces from the total mass of the buildings that were detsroyed, preventing a reconstruction for event-analysis purposes.
