They play with the same "toys" that the average "House Cat" does, not insects known to carry disease ! Ego tells me you are a 24 yr old Boy, Ukie Jerk ! You d/n deserve a Pet !
@trecoolsrebelrocker They are claimed to have a lower count of the protein in the saliva that causes the allergic reaction. This is not consistent to all individuals, so you need to actually spend time with the specific cat you are considering.

I got mine 15 years ago for free as a 'show off, but get neutered" deal to expose the breed to the US. He was the light of my life. I highly recommend Siberians. You will not regret it.

Yes, they are. My stepdad is super allergic to cats and even though we have two Siberian cats and it works excellent. we've had ours for 6 years =) Our cats are pretty lazy haha, but early in the morning (around 5) they play and run around in the house =P They work together with other races too, Norwegian Forest cats are good together with Siberian cats =)
Actually cat allergy is attributed to a protien called Fel d 1 which is in cat saliva. Most cats expell 70,000 microbes of this protein per hour. Siberians only expell about 200 microbes.
By defonition the prefix "hypo" means less than. So Siberians are extremely hypoallergenic.
What hasn't been proven is the claim that they completely lack allergens, and that's beceause it's a false claim.

Let me tell you i have a siberian kitty and she is just adorable.
so purry , and my friend is allergic to cats and my kitty doesnt make her any allergy which is really good.
she is a really good kitty and she likes playing a lot with small things .
it is true siberian cats are like dogs !! and siberian cats dont do any mess.. she is so calmy

siberians aren't scientifically hypoallergenic. however, people generally allergic to cats have reported no problems with siberian cats.
your orange siberian looks just like mine. :)
