@grupomagnate That would explain why in 2008, more jobs were created in Texas than the rest of the country combined, wouldn't it? It would also explain why even still, Texas is staying ahead of the national average in terms of unemployment, even with BHO placing restrictions on the oil industry and moving government contracts to companies outside of our state. It may be why a Texan can live on $75k/yr a lot better than a New Yorker and Californian.
