This is why Doom 3 is amazing. Today people can make jokes about it, but they have to play the game as it was made to be played: Alone, At Night

@madridboy86 It's not coming out on mac, ID said that mac system can't support the new ID tech 5 because of the lower calculations made by the system, say, on lowest settings, you would play doom 4 on mac with around 3-5 fps per second, meaning it could fry your video, so, only pc, 360, ps3 and, surprisingly, linux.

Sorry, mac fails at games, you will need to wait for newer mac systems to play the upcoming new games, it's no longer compatible.

At quakeacon, they were going to reveal some information, but at the beginning of the event, he started it off by saying no news would be mentioned. Ruined my day, but hey, he said it was in the final stages of development and was going to be released after rage. Btw, he said it would be way better than rage too.

I have a problem reinstalling DOOM 3 Resurrection of Evil. Ive installed this game once before and it works fine, when when i tried to reinstall it, it tells me patch 1.2 already exsists then exits to windows.

The original Doom 3 works fine, but ROE refuses to reinstall because of this.

Ive heard this only happens if you uninstalled then reinstalled the game.

Maybe the chainsaw isn't enabled by default on ROE, but it's very easy to add !

I was done this many time ago, but a kick way is to open the console in game and type...:

give weapon_chainsaw, next i recommend to assing the chainsaw weapon to some closer key for quick and easy access with the bind xxxkey "_impulsexx".
