I'm just curious..was Newstead playing bass on this one? I couldn't get a definitive look due to the grainy filter and sharp cutaways in the video. (And also, never really got into F&J as a kid.)

I saw these guys open for King Diamond in '88 or '89, in I think it was Oakland, or maybe Annaheim, it was on the "Them" tour. Anyway, one of the guitar players came out front after their set to watch KD. My friend recognized him and motioned him over, he was really cool (and short, lol), but he said he hated this song, and he thought it was gay. He said the record company "forced" (his word) them to record and play it on tour, so they could release it as a single.

Great stuff. I remember when this album was first released. Could not find a copy to save my life. A truly great album by one of the best metal bands of its time. Great sound, great musicianship. Great stuff!

So we brought them a language so they can communicate with us, then we enslave them, take resources from their country, kill several of them and start dominating their country and splitting it amongst european nations. I saw these guys open for King Diamond in '88 or '89, in I think it was Oakland, or maybe Annaheim, it was on the "Them" tour. Anyway, one of the guitar players came out front after their set to watch KD. My friend recognized him and motioned him over, he was really cool (and short, lol), but he said he hated this song, and he thought it was gay. He said the record company "forced" (his word) them to record and play it on tour, so they could release it as a single.
