Ah! Suspicions confirmed! The two poles are of different diameters. I wasn't positive, but I thought she had differing positions and spins from one to the other! And she does! Such talent! I can Definately see where te discipline of gymnastics would be a good backround for this, more so than dance for example!

I wonder how many hours per week Jenyne works out on the pole, and what is the career-life expectancy of a top flight pole dancer? Also, does she choreograph her own routines?
i stated dancing when i was 18 no gyms here have pole danceing i feel its fun and i have lost weight too and when i stated it was a very fast spining pole i wish i could find away to teach ladys how to you dont need to get naked to have fun dancing its deffently a art form

peace love & pole dancing indeed. I'm considering using a grip aid, again for safety when performing, especially because the minute the nerves kick in the hands get damp =S. but choosing one is hard!

A very interesting interview. I like Jenyne's making the connection between fromal gymnastics and pole as an art and sport. I've followed her workshop stops and visits on-line and everywhere she goes all you hear is "what a nice person." Jenyne is really a class act...a beautiful, talented, and personable representative of the entire field of pole. Thanks, Veena for giving her a platform to promote what we do!
