A true Frisco and Felicia moment--being torn apart by the WSB. I know what that kind of love feels like in a way and it makes me have a special bond to this story and to these two characters. No matter what, they never stopped loving each other. It must have hurt Frisco to leave her like that, and Maxie. Gone to an exciting yet lonely life without the family he made and loved. Truly a tale of what true love is about and how it survives all odds. We still love you Frisco and Felicia.
This was one of the moments that defined the love they had. It couldnt be destroyed despite the distance or Felicia moving on with Mac or anything else. Frisco must have had a tormented soul knowing the only woman he loved was Felicia and he could not make a committment to her and Maxie. It is not even understandable. Felicia's heart is breaking once again, as it does when Georgie is born, and when she goes to Egypt to find him. It is a true fairytale love, heartwrenching to see even now.
There are so many F&F clips that I adore...and this one is one of my favourites. Two soul mates that will always be connected. So beautiful...and chemistry like no other!
ever time i watch this i cry with tear, and it makes me sad, they both frisco as jack wanger and felicia as kristina wanger belong together now and for real life i love those two i really wish they would come back it's not the same....
does anyone remember who the head writer was at this time? They need to come back. I just saw a lame attempt to recreate this heart wenching storyline on GH .. It did not work at all...
Everytime I watch this clip it just magnifies who F&F were to each other. For 3 minutes of the clip they only say 9 words between the two of them but the heartache and emotion that is displayed in between those 9 words is amazing. I miss F&F and this caliber of writing on GH.
@renita501 so insightful. 9 words. wow. the kiss goes on for a full minute at least, which is long as screen kisses go, but it's not functioning as a kiss usually does. it's bearing the weight of all that needs to be said, but cannot be spoken. it's a sad kiss, a yearning kiss, a passionate kiss. F&F's kisses always move me, but this one wasn't about the usual thrill. it bore the burden of all their sadness. they know they can't really be together beyond that moment and it's killing them.
I agree with all of you! Wish they didn't have to say good-bye again. Why did GH destroy each an amazing couple- no other couple have such chemistry, fun-loving, and romance. Either with talking or not talking- they have the ability to say what their hearts say to each other- priceless. Long love F&F in our hearts.
I WORE my tape out when I was 14 watching this scene. I mean talk about a KISS!! There was so much behind that kiss. They were the love of each others lives that had not touched in years, their daughter was just given a new lease on life, and they knew they were saying goodbye. I mean this is what soaps used to be about. PASSION! DO you notice when he leaves, he cant look at her. Like if he looks at her he wont be able to get out that door! AMAZING!
@lpressman321 i was away at college during this storyline, and so was only vaguely aware that it was happening. i'm so grateful for youtube and for the many generous posters who have preserved all these beautiful threads of their story. i have seen this scene before due to another yt'ers filesharing site, but not the other two parts of the tryptic! thank you, GHfan110!
@lpressman321 I agree with you 100%. When she reaches out to touch him and he kisses her hand and rubs his face against her hand its as though she can feel his pain. When he tells her he loves her and she says, "I know", thats the confirmation of their past and knowing that they are the loves of each other lives.
@renita501 and @lpressman321, i so appreciate your perspective on this. beyond the pure, distilled magic of this scene, which is astounding, i keep returning to this clip because i want to read what others are saying. i know the comments are going to be rich. both of you have been such consistently thoughtful and provocative commenters across the board. thanks for bringing even more to the enjoyment of f&f in this platform. i love the community we have!
@salimahp973 I kinda feel that this is a defining moment in their relationship, like no matter what happens, they know they will just always be "it" for each other.
@lpressman321 I agree with you. I think this scene lays the groundwork for F&F's final scenes that takes place a year or more later. When Felicia went to find Frisco to tell him that she was pregnant she confirmed their love for one another and when Frisco came back and met Georgie for the first and only time, she once again confirmed their love for one another and let him know that it wouldn't change even though they are not a part of each other's life.
@renita501 It has been pure homecoming to read the message board regarding these scenes. Everyone has mentioned such great insights to what we feel as viewers. This truly is the segment that captures their love and perserves it for eternity. Lpressman321 said it perfectly, they just know they are each other's souls. It runs deeper than any words can convey. Powerful with such sadness. But yet I'm a better person for knowing and living through their legacy and understanding their love.
Think they're divorced in real life. A favorite scene of mine too!...
