This is not true.

If you activate the Companion Mod (you find it on the internet) you'll be able to join up with Skelter and even command him. From there you'll notice that Skelter is a Gangrel, has animalism and all that. He's even mentioned in the notable Gangrels (Not sure of the precise document, maybe in the Gangrel's handbook). Rodriguez, Smilin' Jack, Damsel, all Brujah. But "Big Boy" Skelter, he's a good Gangrel packwolf.

The old world of darkness wasn't messed up. The apocalypse/gehenna was great. But I think, the restart with a new version was a bad idea. I heard, many fans are pissed off, the new version is boring and too strange to enjoy and white wolf are in trouble because of bad sales. IMHO, I prefer the old world of darkness. Why stop a good, successful version and replace it with something worse?
