There are way too many absentee fathers in our community and way too many little black boys in special ed. classrooms due to behavior problems. The community needs the men to stand up and show their sons how to be men. Break the cycle. Read a book and stop relying on the television as your main source of information because a lot of the info is false. The way blacks are portrayed in the media is not an accident. Many beautiful black women are on drugs because they were used and abused when they were younger. I've heard of alot of women being raped growing up by an uncle, cousin or family friend because of they were "pretty" "thick", "filling out early" "long hair", etc. This leads to confusion, depression and ultimately a dependence on a substance to drown the pain. Sexual abuse is real in the black community and it's unfortunate how we downplay this problem when it comes to prostitution and drug use.

@mindround Actually Wilt Chamberlain (a black male athlete) was the first person I heard to start the bashing. He said some very negative things about black women. All my life I have seen black men put lighter skin women up on a pedestal. They were always considered the pretty ones in school, music videos and in social settings. Dark skin girls had a better chance with non-black men. Most black men date and marry women whose skin is lighter than theirs anyway.

A lot of these women just want to be loved. Since they aren't getting the love they should get, from people they should get it from, they turn to drugs, prostitution, etc. . They are trying to fill a void in their lives left by that lack of love. Many have been abused as children also. It all comes back to the lack of real love in their lives. They weren't taught scripture. It was the source of debate as to whether or not women had souls. There are way too many absentee fathers in our community and way too many little black boys in special ed. classrooms due to behavior problems. The community needs the men to stand up and show their sons how to be men. Break the cycle. Read a book and stop relying on the television as your main source of information because a lot of the info is false. The way blacks are portrayed in the media is not an accident. There are groups of people out there who want to divide and conquer black people.

Many beautiful black women are on drugs because they were used and abused when they were younger. I've heard of alot of women being raped growing up by an uncle, cousin or family friend because of they were "pretty" "thick", "filling out early" "long hair", etc. This leads to confusion, depression and ultimately a dependence on a substance to drown the pain. Sexual abuse is real in the black community and it's unfortunate how we downplay this problem when it comes to prostitution and drug use.

Black women were the ones that started the battle, but two wrongs don't make it right... one of us have to be the stronger and rebuild what the slavery of our ancestors destroyed. @mindround Actually Wilt Chamberlain (a black male athlete) was the first person I heard to start the bashing. He said some very negative things about black women. All my life I have seen black men put lighter skin women up on a pedestal. They were always considered the pretty ones in school, music videos and in social settings. Dark skin girls had a better chance with non-black men. Most black men date and marry women whose skin is lighter than theirs anyway.

A lot of these women just want to be loved. Since they aren't getting the love they should get, from people they should get it from, they turn to drugs, prostitution, etc. . They are trying to fill a void in their lives left by that lack of love. Many have been abused as children also. It all comes back to the lack of real love in their lives. I'm not justifying their behavior, but I'm offering a glimpse inside their souls, if you will.

Jesus was: see Matthew 19. But jesus also taught women in a time where women weren't taught. Jesus revealed himself to women first. What does it mean to be HEAD to you? A verse that you picked out of several you disregarded because it makes you feel big and bad?

I can utilize a verse in my support of another verse. Or is YOUR understanding that the Bible contradicts itself. Paul wrote letters to people in countries where women weren't taught to read. They weren't taught scripture. It was the source of debate as to whether or not women had souls. In those cases, Jesus liberated women and they were getting their first experiences with any undomesticated activity. Men didn't like this. His letters were practical and timely not spiritual and timeless.

Submit one another using Church and Christ as models, as the bible often does. They are equally submissive states for one to be in. Christ died as a servant. What is the difference between what Christ did as was written in the bible and submission? Giving up himself for the other and vice versa. How can you justify verse 21 and 22 on?
