the reason he has i that mace it was best tanking wep for tier 4-5 and btw it was a dps mace. I got it when I was getting my tanking set really but never got my full set I wish they make a vanilla server and some TBC server!

its not weird at all, its a fast wep which is good when tanking and it also gives a lot of Spell Power, which is really good for pally tanks since Consecrations damage is based off of Spell Power and Concecration is pretty much a pallies main source of threat.

Good point, i actually had a healing mace for tanking at 70 too. consecrate does a lot more damage, its easier to keep aggro.

It's a lot better than a tanking sword if you're already capped defense.

weapon damage isnt everything ;p
