"Yes, Lord" has more meaning than what is being stated here. It is NOT customary to stand just for this song. You need to know the deep history of "Yes, Lord". The Bishops do not stand out of "custom". There are what you call "deep" folks standing while she IS singing. The Holy Spirit is always recognized and welcomed. Understand something, reverence WAS given during her song by what Maestro calls the "deep" folks. Look at the video again. Who said that "standing" is the only reverence?

Kim is still better than the rest, even when she's hoarse. A lot of people try to sound like Kim but can't touch her. Her tone, the natural raspiness of her voice is too unique. The only person I can think of who has a similar voice passed away in 1996. YES! Ms. Ella Fitzgerald.

Because what may be "customary" might not be what's right. COGIC ministers are notorious for sitting back in their lounge chairs while the spirit is moving, as if it has no affect on them. It seems us COGIC's can't receive different gifts unless people are doing the same screams, same runs, etc. Y can't we feel the Spirit in any genre.
