Maureen O'hara is so gorgeous, not to mention what a spunky personality. She always delivers fully with her characters. Living legend. I adore this movie to death always has remained my favorite even with the re-makes, they never did it justice. That is because you can't re-make a classic.

@LovesMyJimmyStewart I never understood why the grandfather was so pesky about the mother's appearance, but then I realized it was part of Susan's plan to make the dad fall in love. :)
Ah, Leo G. Carroll. His role is small, but he makes the most of every single second. :)
