first of all thanks alot for these nicly explained well compreehensive pathology online classes:)

i have a question might sound stupid to you but i have to know the answer since i am a med student and it is embarassing not knowing ,,,

where exactly the abcess are formed in? in interstitiums ,right? how come an infection which is inside airways/alveoli can reach interstituim?
