  • heheheh there was a picture of organic coke that came from somthing alive

  • Human torch Vs Iceman! thumbs so mrtennessen can see it!

  • electro vs dr doom

  • This is kind of stupid of Marvel. Even if it was a villian who got the finishing blow on the skrull queen, you don't hand over the entire planet to that villian!!

  • Pyro vs Human torch

  • in one of the messiah complex comics wolverine cut and stabbed gambit, gambit was stretched out.

  • What the hell does Batman get involved in this?

He's just Sherlock Holmes in a fursuit.

  • ok i belive wolverine would win but its to bad they cant have another battle because gambit is dead

  • WTF!!!!

  • Wolverine'll win because of his healing power.

  • Gambit can kill wolverine and really any x man. he has the power to destroy an entire planet with his powers he'll have no problem destroying wolverine. It's just the gambit commonly displayed is a gambit suppressing his powers or not at his real potential.

  • How does Wolverine's bone marrow even stays fresh? His bones should be dust. Adamantium is not porous like bone, in fact it's extremely dense (impenetrable). How does a "Nitro destroyed" Wolverine, with no brain or flesh, heal back through the Adamantium? He shouldn't be able to send oxygen or blood to his marrow even when completely healthy. His bones are cut off from any signals and nothing, even air or blood and tissue should be able to get in or out. Has it ever been explained? ...

  • @CrucibleBlack13 man, you just killed wolverine! and it only took a little reasoning.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 its a comic book character you moron, by that logic no character makes sense in any comic.

  • @MoneyR8 On one hand yes, it's fantasy. Yet for the reader to suspend disbelief, even the realm of comics, requires some science & logic to keep the story grounded - so the reader can relate to it and buy into the fantasy. Wolverine is one of those characters, that is notorious for his healing factor's constant inconsistancy. So at any rate, I was just throwing it out there for fun and genuinely wondering if it's ever been explained. Sorry if my comment made you cry or have to think too hard.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 It's a comic book character. It doesn't need a prefect explanation.

  • @granko43 Fair enough, just as long as you promise me to never seek out a career as a writer.

  • Cyclops is on par with Black Bolt in the sense that; one can level a mountain range simply by scanning the horizon, the other by using his voice. Sight or sound is the only difference. Understand that it is only with great discipline and the visor that contains this energy that he is kept in check. Because of his sense of duty he holds back. We rarely see his power at its fullest. Only a fraction is used in combat lest everything in his path is destroyed. He is often underestimated as a result.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 Ok first of all cyclops no where near blackbolt he can scream and blow up a planet whisper level a city, and its only been described as punching holes in mountains but he has punched through a carbon steel plate and his energy output has been over 2 gigawats which is larger than a nuclear reactor.

  • @luluvibritania Punching a hole through a mountain is a single blast. unleashing that force in constant across the range of a mountain or anything else he is looking at is going to be all the more devastating. Are you saying the full force of one of the worlds largest nuclear reactors is "soft"? Not only that, but it was only "measured" as such but was also stated that this wasn't near his full potential because he fears what would happen if he let go and unleashed full control.

  • @luluvibritania My point in comparison to Black Bolt was simply to demonstrate the self discipline they use to keep the full extent of their power in check, not to start a discussion on wether or not Cyclops's power is to the full degree of what Black Bolt's is. A sand blaster or power washer at close range can strip flesh. Imagine what a dimensional beam of focused force, comparable to a nuclear reactor going off, could do ... More than enough to tear Wolverine apart is all I'm saying.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 yeah dude i completely agree with you on the part that we dont know what cycs full power hell he could probably hurt the hulk and pierce a hole in him easily idk if he can dent adamantium but he has a full dimensional power at his disposle and he does fear his full power like sentry and such i was just saying tho in a fight between him and wolverine he could beat him easily but wolverine can beat him easily if he gets close as he does possess the agility needed

  • @CrucibleBlack13 Im not trying to take anything away from cyclops hes a good character i never really focused on him tho as much as i did wolverine or gambit or colossus but i never doubt his power but using too much of his powers can drain him of his energy all depends on his stamina and his natural sense of spatial awareness can cause him to be able to fire omnidirectional blasts in away from rapid shooting in diff directions and encage someone

  • @CrucibleBlack13 but what i would give this fight to cyclops is how fast he can fire off blasts what type of blasts he can launch off omnidirectional or multiple blasts wolverine's hf as evolved to such a point even that WW Hulk said he couldnt kill and wolverine has dodge cyclops blast at near point blank range. If Cyclops can get wolverine at a distance then keep him there cycs wins if wolv gets close he wins and wolv does a small degree of super strength but not enough

  • magneto would tear up wolverine, i mean litterally

  • @FoolishInTheEnd Yeah, that's barely even a fight. I've had hardcore Wolverine fans actually try to convince me otherwise but they're just really reachin on that one. Magneto with minimal effort could annihilate Wolverine at will.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 it already happened and wolverine survived. then he grew bone claws and magneto wanted none of it after that and his bone claws became almost as strong as adimantium but not really cause they breeak. put it this way unless you can wipe wolverine out of existance you cant kill him. the man changed back from being transformed into another creature so even if you change his molecular stucture he changes back even hulk say he cant kill him

  • @CrucibleBlack13 psycics dont work on him for the same reason they dont work on batman bc his head is so fdup and and if he goes beserker psycic dont do squat. i see molecule man and above killing him and everyone else can just delay him for a while. its funny i say those things bc i hate wolverine. a good fight for woverine is him agains dead pool now that is where wolverine meets his match. i think dead pool can kill anyone even galactus lol the guy breaks the 4th demensinal wall.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 dead pool i think is like god of marvel bc he can do anything he just doesnt bc his having fun. the guy talks to the person reading the comics he break the 4th demansional wall. dead pool vs galactus: galactus shoots beam dead pool breaks forth demansional wall erases glactus's body draws a turkeys body on his head then enter the comic and cooks him mmm..mmm..galactus the end lol

  • @truthinhisword It all comes down to wether or not, as a reader, you accept the ridiculous levels of Wolverine's ability to return from absolutely nothing. His healing factor goes through one of the most inconsistant swings of just about any characters power I have ever seen. Xavier has clearly stated in the past that decapitation would kill Wolverine. His tissue or ligaments surrounding the connections to his limbs, have no admantium and can and have been severed in the past.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 Cont... The fact is Cyclops has spacial awareness that allows him to anticipate and hit targets moving as fast as Quicksilver or Nova. He can also completely flood his blasts in a massive wide cone that not much of anything can escape. He has stripped the flesh off of Hulk and body tissue of standard strength has been stripped to a bare skeleton. He has fought Wolverine in hand to hand combat for many rounds to a stand still without even resorting to his blasts.

  • @truthinhisword cont. ... Wolverine has even tried reattachments in the past to find his body part to merge it back to heal. Does Wolverine have an accelerated healing factor or does he have memory regeneration? Is Wolverine like a starfish now? That seems to be at the whims of the writers lately. Logically it has always been understood that with no brain activity or vital organs to send oxygen to his brain, he can not send a signal to his body to regenerate and would die.

  • @truthinhisword cont. ... Cyclops blew off Wolverine's hand before.(didn't grow back) so it depends on what you choose to accept. If suddenly Wolverine is so popular now some writers make him a God, then that's their take. I've read that some Marvel writers see Wolverine's return after being incinerated by Nitro as "bad writing" trying to come up with ways to explain why that was a special situation and shouldn't happen again. So it all depends ...

  • @truthinhisword So through dissection or disintegration Cyclops could potentially reduce Wolverine to nothing but adamantium. The question is, are you a reader who buys into the fact that Wolverine can regenerate cells when cells no longer exist? If yes, then Wolverine is unstoppable and immortal. If not, then he's scrap metal for future repairs to Ultron's armor. I'm old school and refuse to buy into the logic of Wolverine's sudden, extreme survivability. Oh well, thanks for the response man.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 yes he could but the adamantium are literaly his bones with bone marrow inside. my take on his healing factor is that i think he was always the kind og guy who can heal through anything bc of his early comics like wolverine 19 where he is deep in the ocean and ran out of air and stays alive through his healing factor or wolverine 23 when he is absorbed by SPORE who even the eternals couldnt come back from but wolverine did.#32 he was stabed in the heart and hert stopped

  • @truthinhisword Not certain about the other issues, but just checking if that Wolverine #19-20 you're talking about is the Tiger Shark issue. I used to have that one and I thought Wolverine was "left to drown" but broke free from the coral reef that had been cracked when T-Shark drove his claws into it. So he never really did drown, technically he wriggled free and made it to the surface in time to recover. Not sure if that's the comic you meant truth ...

  • @CrucibleBlack13 wolverine 32 he was stabbed in the heart his heart stoped and he was dying but came back to life with no blood going to his brain and pulled out the blade. he even falls into pure liquified thunderbolt( a drug that makes your reaction like dead pool and bezerker mode, but the pure liquid form is like the strongest acid if you take it it melts your brain) he survived it unscaved to ontinue to fight.

  • @truthinhisword Love the Deadpool 4th dimensional scenario by the way :)

  • @CrucibleBlack13 hell yeah dead pool is a great character. its funny when he fights wolverine he does crazy things like make stuff happen out of thin air like a plane crashing on wolverine while wolverine is standing on the freshly painted target spot.

  • Off the Gambit topic, but I've always imagined that Cyclops would kill Wolverine fairly easily if he wanted. He has the range advantage. Try dodging a focused beam that essentially can cover his full field of vision. Not only is he a deadeye with his optic blasts but they can punch a hole through a mountain and melt steel with ease, let alone soft flesh. The result is Cyclops merely looks at Wolverine = Dead. Flesh stripped, brain boiled and nothing remains but admantium that is now useless.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 what you said about cyclops?the sentinals did the exact same thing to wolverine.and he didnt regenerate from that???so how come hes depicted regening from a skeleton in above video?thats just plain stupid.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 You think Wolverine would make it that easy? lmao

  • @TruGouki Wolverine wouldn't have much of a choice other than to make it easy. A man that has the entire structure of his body laced in metal vs. a man who has absolute control over ... METAL. What variable is there to think about in all honesty? Magneto could rip the entire skeleton from Wolverine's body with but a thought before Wolverine could even get within striking range. End result is Wolverine's flesh looking like an old man's scrotum lying on the pavement.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 Dude i replied to you talking about wolverine vs cyclops not magneto

  • @TruGouki Sorry TruG, Cyclops then. The way I see it Cyclops has been shown in danger room type settings to have the accuracy to shoot the wings off a fly at the length of a football field. He can also create a death beam, esp. with visor off, covering his entire field of vision. Do me a favor; step outside and look at a target across the street, a tree for example, or a buddy to simulate a moving target. Imagine them doing some lame somersault to escape your field of vision. Not gonna happen.

  • @TruGouki Don't get me wrong, Wolverine is a great character. That's just my view on that fight. If Cyclops can slice a mountain in half he can strip flesh from bone. Granted Cyclops has been seen to miss in the comics but my point is, if the fiction were to be set in a realistic setting, there is no reason he should miss unless the target can move at speeds that exceed the trained human eye. Those misfires were usually a result of writing to move the story along and make it more interesting.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 Well i never seen him slice a mountain in half myself. But even so Wolverine can recover from his flesh being stripped. He has before. In ultimate Phoenix basically did that to him because they were in a trap. In this state he was still able to move and even slice into somebody. Now for the actual fight, what makes you think wolverine is just going to stay out of range for cyclops? Yes he can shoot a blast that is wide but if he does it wont be as fast as a concentrated blast.

  • @CrucibleBlack13 which means Wolverine would dodge it. He isn't exactly slow. Basically close range Wolverine has this fight easily. Cyclops may be able to keep the fight distanced with his blast for a time, but Wolverine would get past it. Even if he is hit, he'd recover.

  • @TruGouki I guess we just see it different .. "Ultimate" continuity is not in the standard Marvel continuity and many things happen beyond general rules in the main stream line of Marvel. Also from one story to the next power level changes. Wolverine is said to be able to die simply if he were to be brought to a point in which he lost excessively enough blood. Mystique once trained herself to this very purpose to do so, and yet other times he regenerates from being reduced to nothing.

  • @TruGouki Wolverine's survivability seems to fluctuate at the whims of writers more than just about any other Marvel character I can think of. He seems to also get blown out of proportion the more popular he gets. I still doubt Wolverine has the physical strength to walk through Cyclops concussive beams which is stated 'can' punch straight through a mountain. or dodge even the slowest beam which is still a solar light wave -speed of light- that covers everything you can see in front you.

  • @TruGouki I don't think Wolverine could get into close range because simply looking left to right or turning his head Cyclops is generating more than sufficient force to keep him back as long as Wolverine is in view. Then again if you believe Wolverine is that lightning fast, or has supernatural strength that is great enough to push through the kind of force Cyclops generates, or his healing factor is without limits ... that's fair enough. I can agree Wolverine wins if Cyclops is sleeping :)

  • I'd like to know more about this whole Wolverine had been stripped to nothing but bone and regenerated within a few casual hours. That seems to go well beyond his regenerative ability than I can remember. Seems far fetched. Who wrote that issue? Hell, I'll look it up I guess.

  • actully gambit could blow up humans but when gambit became a good guy he went to this guy who took that ability away

  • Dead lord. I would never want to get into a comic related argument with you. Ever.

  • well gambit blew up hammer heads face...

not like really blow up but enough to make him bleed

  • Wolverine BUT it could g oin Gambits favour

  • I know, I'm a nerd. I also like beer, look past any flaws you find. I'm happy to discuss thoughts with people who share different opinions.

  • I know I probably just sparked a huge debate among true believers, But I must agree with mrtennessen. I think the question itself is silly to impose. I know gambit is quick, cunning and agile, but he is very frail physically. It's almost like putting a group of HIV patients on a bus, one driver in a semi pulling a trailer full of razor blades and making them collide head on.. then trying to come up with some type of uneducated naive guess.

  • Reference: World War Hulk: XMEN, Just before Hulk gave Wolverine brain damage he is quoted saying: "I know I can't kill you, but there are other options." Hulk survived (very well) a battle against Sentry, and hurt Sentry more (as far as I know) than anyone else ever has. In contrast, Wolverine survived a battle with our beloved Green Skar. Gambit has no type of defense against that kind of power. He would Die. He cannot regenerate, it would simply be a matter time before Wolvie killed him.

  • is he still doing these videos?

  • One way Gambit could kill Wolverine:

Take fight number one. Had Gambit wanted to kill Wolvie, he would have simply needed to charge his staff and thrust it into Logan's neck, blowing his head off.

Remember, Wolverine's bones are coated in adamantium, but his spinal cord is most obviously not, meaning Wolerin'es head is not permanently attached to his body.

  • im pretty sure that wouldnt work that would mean alot of the punches by super strong foes that have punched wolverine in the face would have snapped his neck and his spine is coated in adamantium since the spine is a bone and from the pic that was shown in the video his spine would have disengrated from the atomic bomb i mean if WW hulk punched him in the face so hard he had brain damage and his head remained intact i doubt a charged gambit staff would work

  • He would have regenerated, and the adamantium is unbreakable.

  • @phil56201 I see where you are going with that comment, but it is only a fan myth. I was already done in What if: Hulk had killed Wolverine. Not exactly like that, but almost the same.bottom line is that Wolvie will ALWAYS recover from ANYKIND of physical trauma. Just ask mrtennessen.

  • The problem with wolverine is that he cant die....witch makes him a boring character. But you could stop the healing prosses by putting hes sceleton in acid or freese him down. Or.....is there a way to destroy adamantium? Ive never seen a marvel comversation that included how to do it. Does any1 know if theres a way?

  • @maxlytrius wolverine can die by drowning severe blood loss but they need to have his healing factor slowed by the muramasa blade or carbonadium and if he is decapitated and i think only people that could possibly destroy adamantium is hulk if he is mad enough molecular rearrangement galactus possibly and surfer and thor have chances

  • Hulk has shatterd adimantium before and if the Molecule man could Disentergrate (basicly) caps sheild which is made of adimantium and vibranium then galactus and surfer cna do the same to wolvy's bones wth ease

  • @amartinez97 when has hulk shatter adamantium i know he has in the ultimate universe not in 616 he only dented someones armor i forgot who and that was an adamantium alloy it was thinner then wolverines adamnatium and caps shield isnt made of adamantium and vibranium its made vibranium and steel and ofcourse galactus surfer could in universe 616 adamantium has never been broken only dented and all the alloys are not as strong as the real adamantium

  • If Gambit was to somehow charge Wolverine's skeleton, I believe It would just superheat and possibly melt the flesh around it, which Wolverine would recover from. Try thinking of putting a piece of metal in a microwave, same thing there, it gets superheated, and at most will throw sparks. So i tink Gambit could possibly incapacitate Wolverine for a bit, but not kill him, but on the other hand Wolverine could easily kill Gambit.

  • Great Review of some great Marval Battles. Can you do Hulk vs Ironman with the Hulkbuster.

  • I think Hulk destroyed the hulkbuster with ease

  • wolverina can die. if u litterally burn off all his flesh and muscles. he is vulnerable. also if he loses too much blood, he can die. and if u destroy all his internal organs, he can also die. but i think even in our universe. hulk can get strong enough to actually rip wolverine in half. hulk has crushed thor's mjolnir, obviously in a dream of his...or what if comic. i forgot. but i think hulk can do it. deadpool can also die.

  • @DaSora2 only way for wolverine to die is if he is beheaded he has had his entire flesh skin and muscles burned off if his brain is still connected to his body he will be able to regenerate and as for the adamantium breaking i dont think hulk can do it thor focused all his power on a small adamantium cylinder and only left a small dent and another time was when hulk was fighting ultron and hulk punched ultron and only left a dent and when ww hulk punched wolverine in the head it didnt dent

  • @DaSora2 as for other ways of killing him drowning suffication the muramasa blade or carbonadium cuz thats really the only ways to slow his healing factor and yes deadpool can die but wolverine's healing factor is probably greater i mean deadpool survived his heart being torn out he just grew a new one and he did get his healing powers from wolverine during the weapon x project oh and of course his adamantium being ripped i say magneto and anyone who can manipulate molecules can kill him

  • When gambit underwent a surgery by some guy(Forgot his name) he was able to charge living things merely by looking at them

meaning he could look at wolverine and wolverine would blow up.

He eventually burned the whole world down.

but then he went back in time and stopped it from happening or something.

  • funny monlogue with the watcher

  • who will against gambit and longshot?

  • Gambit

  • I think you forgot some important arguments, like gambits speciality with ranged weapons. Wolverine would have a tough time coming close and not be in top shape when he does. And as you say in 1610 adamantium is not as durable. But there is a scene where Gambit seems confident in blowing Wolverines skeleton up. To bad it isn't resolved. I personally think it is 50/50... It all depends on the battlefield...Still love the reviews even if it dosen't seem that way^^

  • Gambit is smarter, quicker, has better fighting skills and can give wolvie a good fight. He would have to do major damage to wolvie in order to win.

Wolverine's healing factor, unbreakable skeleton, and his ferocious fighting style make him winner the majority of the time.

  • *Wolverine is not immortal, however. If the injuries are extensive enough, especially if they result in the loss of vital organs, large amounts of blood, and/or loss of physical form (such as having flesh burned away by fire or acid), Logan can die. *

    *info from marvel directory*

  • The part where wolverine's flesh is burned off, and he regenerates it back is BS! that totally defies the original wolverine healing factor. That has to be in some alternate universe. Wolvie is not immortal, he can die, and if he loses an arm, it can't grow back.

  • It did happen in Civil war when nitro burned him..and it was on earth 616...He healed after a few hours because he still has his BOnes left to heal...

  • You forgot Wolverines most unique and amazing power of all... the power to increase his badassery exponentially as his fan base grows...

  • didn't batman win the fight against marvel

  • hey what does anyone think about spider-man and gambit having a one on one battle?

  • magneto vs galatics

  • Well i think batman and spiderman are equal when it comes to intelligence, but spiderman is to strong and to agile for batman.Plus his Spidresense wold give him an edge

  • @MarreroBoss91 If batman can beat the flash he can def beat spiderman

  • @BreakingImageFilms its all speculation on our part but, just to me spiderman has a combination of strength, intelligence, and I think his spidersense would have him win 8/10 times.(just my opinion)

  • @MarreroBoss91 Batman is smarter than Spidey.

  • @TheVortexLord Yea but, spiderman just has better natural abilites and no discernable weakness like super man.His strength, speed, agility ect would have him win a majority of the time

  • @MarreroBoss91 Yeah, I know that, I was just referring to the intelligence part.

  • @TheVortexLord okay gotcha!

  • @MarreroBoss91 Unless Batman uses his brain and comes up with a solution to defeating Spiderman. I dunno, maybe a insect spray or something.

  • @superkid24 its possible but, I just think Spiderman would win a majority of the time.

  • great review

  • I'd love to see Thanos Vs. WWH or Thanos Vs. Apocalypse

  • batman vs spiderman

  • Spidey wins easily unless Batman has prep time.

  • spider man is stronger, faster, smarter, has spider sense, has web shooting capabilities...batman is physically bigger, has stabbing abilities with his head, white eyes, Robin, bat girl and, other useless crap...need i say more? Batman is the least significant within the Justice League. :) really he's just a human. He has no special powers like Juggernaut. Just a human vigilante....your question should be Batman vs Dare Devil

  • are you fucking stupid batman is one off the smartist people in dc and he has once beat the justice leage by himself he had kryptonight gauntlet things and beat the shit out of superman

  • i didn't say he wasn't the "smartiest". I just said Spider Man is smarter. We all know Peter Parker is a genius though. Bruce is not as smart as Parker. Anyway...Intelligence and Super Powers on Spider Mans side. If Batman gets a hold of the diamond of Cyttorak, i might change my mind. But Dare Devil is a better match up for Batman fans. Cat Woman vs. Wonder Woman anyone?

  • batman and cap have fought and the both new it would be a stalemate and cap

  • Batman has more money. Spiderman would be homeless if Bruce Wayne wanted to.

  • irrelevant. Marvel > DC anyways. Juggernaut/Hulk/Thor and anyone in Marvel can kill Batman. "That guy would be beaten by Aunt May with both her legs broken" -mrtennessen. I mean, any Marvel superhero would destroy Batman in a second.

  • Do you understand the concept of a joke or your nerdiness has brought you so far away from society that you no longer have a sense of humour?

  • no, i dont have a sense of humor. Humor is for people with no lives. ;)

  • @greifocs

Then Mickey would own Batman. ;D

  • @greifocs lol true, but he'd jus go live with Harry......

  • Gambit at the height of his powers was able to charge organic and inorganic matter by looking at it as well as heal. He had part of his brain excised by Sinister because he couldn't control his powers, this directly led to him paying back the debt by helping to form the Marauders.

I also disagree with the theory that adamantium molecules are too closely bonded, Magneto didn't have a problem ripping from Wolverine.

Gambit winning isn't so far fetched.

  • magneto has never broke the adamantium he riped it out of wolverine tats different that destroying it

  • My point was, the adamantium should've come out whole if the bonding is that close. It instead came out in liquid form.

Too many different writers and inconsistencies in comics.

When was the last time Gambit blocked bullets with his staff or grabbed a launched grenade out of the air?

They turned Wolverine into a god and gave everyone else the shaft.

They killed Sync, one of the most powerful mutants, toned down and villafied Bishop.

    What's next?

  • ya i love wolverine but they have maid him like a god

  • 5/5*

    HOW ABOUT FLASH VS QUICKSILVER

  • Flash hands down.

  • in spiderman web of shadows spiderman rips wolverine in two

    so much for unbreakable

  • his bones are unbreakable, not the meat between them.

  • your joking right to rip someone into two pieces it has to break bones like the spin

  • Not Exactly His BONES are unbreakable im sure his joints arent

  • In the X-men series, Gambit threatned with blowing up Toad. He made him glow.

    Explain that?

  • he wraped a carpet around him he was charging the carpet not toad

  • i have no idea what you said....at all

  • wloverine wins

  • gambit vs spiderman

  • Spider-Man pwns him pretty quickly. He's too fast and is like 10x stronger. I like Gambit more, but he's screwed against Spidey.

  • but you know when wolverine got his skeleton wasent it in a melten form so you could based on this make the molecules move and therefor make it explode:O

  • I have to say I love Watcher's recap of recent events in the Marvel Universe.

  • Here is a good fight to do. How about Wolverine vs. Captain America vs. Spider man?

  • good clip, but I'm not buying that Adamantium can resist molecular shift on the level that Gambit dishes it out. After a certain level of kinetic energy is reached, elements can transmute, changing their atomic structure from one element to another. If Gambit charged adamantium long enough, it would either explode or become a radioactive element subject to decay. plus, adamantium can be manipulated and formed, and surely whatever energy level required to do that could be exceeded by Gambit.

  • @juniorimus first of like you said 'if' he charged it long enough. so even if he could blow up adamantuim wolverine would be slicing and dicing and because and inless wolverine is touching something that gambit could touch he would have touch olvy phisicly. also if gambit could charge adamantium he would have done so earlier.

  • ha good fight.

  • I was just thinking about this yesterday. Wouldn't it be possible to kill wolverine if you were able to pin him to something with a spear (made out of adamantium, so he can't cut through it) through the heart? If he's pinned in a way he can't get off, the obstruction in his chest cavity could keep his heart from healing right, so (assuming he needs his heart to live) I think that could kill him if he's left on it long enough.

If it works, Gambit would be the ideal candidate for this XD.

  • In that case, you could probably drown Wolverine and let his body begin to decompose, but as from what I've seen Wolvie do, both that and pinning him to a wall would most certainly only work as long as he is kept in that condition, when he gets free he'll much probably rise again in a matter of seconds or minutes.

  • What about gambit at full streght with out him having control and being able to blow up ppl.

  • Even if the adamantium was not destroyed by the explosion, the cartilage and ligaments would surely be, turning wolverine into an armless and legless skeleton torso.

Now the question is, can wolverines regeneration grow back limbs ? I don't think so (even if he can, the new members will NOT have adamantium).

  • Didn't Thor strike a block of adamantium with his hammer and leave a dent in the block? And Hulk destroyed some alien ships made of adamantium or something, right?

  • excellent

  • Ok... umm.. Cyclops did manage to break wolverines hand when they battled the last time, wolvering taking out one of cykes eyes though, in Age of Ap. If you think about it, gambit doesn't have to "break" adamantium just the cartilage between the bones or the tendons that bond the bones together, just like Thoomolong said. When you come to think about it, it wouldn't be that hard at all, just knock him out , just enough time to place enough explosives under his chin to blow his head off

  • Two of the best X-Men ever. Thanx for the vid. BTW since Gambit can't effect organic material, can he still defeat someone like Venom?

  • could gambit blow up everyone during the marvals zombies think about it

  • HUlk could totally rip Wolvie in half. Wolverine was torn in half at the abdomen, the only adamantium laced parts there being his vertabrae, which wasn't broken. It was the cartilage between the bones and spinal cord itself, OR the muscles and tendons that connect the spinal column to the body being torn off, which the Hulk can do. (add nerd slurp here)

  • Well, Hulk can only rip Wolverine in half in the Ultimate universe where the adamantium is much weaker than in the normal marvel universe.

  • 2) Same goes for adamantium. If the stuff would be too closely packed to move, it would be the coldest thing possible, turning Wolverine into a chunk of ice from within. I'm not even sure he would survive. I dont think his healing powers include heating up. If he would survive, he would not be able to do what he does, being under constant influence of a temperature of −273.15 °C

  • 1) Very fast movement on atoms of any thing does not cause explosions. It causes thing to become gas. in a playcard that would mean it would burn (due to a chemical reaction), not explode. So Gambit powers does not involve increasing the speed of partials within material.

  • Two of my favorite characters, but yea wolverine would win most of the time

  • Wow the marvel creaters went down to the exzacet science in making there characters

  • Suppose Gambit could blow up Adamantium with his powers. How would he get to it? The only Adamantium that would be exposed on Wolverine would be his claws and I doubt that Gambit could reach them without getting cut badly. If Wolverine knew Gambit's strategy, he could put his claws back in his hands. Right? It could happen, but isn't likely is my conclusion.

  • gambit doesn't have to directly touch his adamantium to charge it. also, gambit doesn't really need to touch anything at all with his full power restored. he could simply look at an object and charge any part of it.

  • Really he is that powerful? That's Professor X type shit!

  • No he can't.That was only after Mister Sinister gave him that operation. But after the battle with New Sun he lost those powers.

  • Id like to hear a video of Wolverine Vs Spider-man since they have fought several times but it would have to be against spider-man with all the powers he had after he got reborn in "the other" although i think he can be very evenly matched with his current powers, he has a very unique fighting style that nobody has (minus kaine and Reilly and spidercide) and wolverine knows virtually any fighting style on earth so id be cool to listen a video on that please.

  • hey can u do a iron man vs spider-man one or an hulk vs wolverine

  • the skeleton would emit a charge, incapacitating wolverine for a short while. gambit is certainly capable of stopping wolverine, but no kill.

  • all i'm gonna say is that gambit would win. and he's sooooooooooooo much hotter!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • *cont*

Gambit's full powers easily make him an "Omega-level" mutant, and fully capable of killing wolverine. However, with his "normal" powers, he and wolverine are pretty even.

  • nah wolverine would always win

  • his powers make him an alpha mutant not omega. Wolverine is a beta mutant.

  • gambit's current powers make him around alpha or beta lvl, but the full extent of his powers make him omega as he was able to travel through time and destroy planets etc

  • Gambit's true mutant power is much greater than simply charging "non-living" materials with kinetic energy. His original powers were the ability to charge ANY object simply within his line of sight with that kinetic energy. He is also capable of many other feats when his powers are at their full potential, as he shown while fighting "New Son"(himself an alternate reality gambit). Gambit had his powers willingly reduced by Mr. Sinister after unwillingly killing a room full of people.

  • If I remember correctly, his alternate self was the "New Sun" because he burned out his world to the point where no life could exist.

  • true, and then he went to different dimensions killing alternate versions of himself so that they couldn't destroy their planets like he did. he eventually ran into earth616's gambit, who gained his full powers back and defeated new son/sun.

  • I know he mentioned that the Ultimate Universe doesn't count, but for the sake of argument

Gambit DID charge Wolverine's adamantium skeleton in Ultimate X-men #50, but he reabsorbs the charge after Wolverine backs down.
