BEAST WARS IRON HIDE

I had Magnaboss as a kid, and even then I realized that Ironhide stunk. Prowl was fine and Silverbolt was passable if a bit half-assed, but Ironhide here was an infuriating puzzle with no payoff at the end. Magnaboss himself is awesome, but they sacrificed Ironhide to make him work.

As much as i love Beast Wars when you're right you're right he's painfully ridiculously atrociously utterly pathetic as a robot.  Still hopefully if you get a hold of Prowl and Silverbolt (another piece of turd that disgraces the name of all things transformable) Magnaboss will be able to make up for it. Anyway, great review mate.

I never liked the kinder formers... I bit of kibble adds character (Classics line totaly figured it out) but this guy look fugly... but is a combinder so what can you do..

The individual component pieces of Magnaboss's Predacon counterpart, Tripredacus, are much more successful and coherent, but the combined form is generally regarded as less successful than Magnaboss, so it seems that whichever one you buy, you have to make a tradeoff. Silverbolt is hands down the worst TFs ever created. Ever. But Magnaboss is AMAZING. Does he make up for the components being so cruddy? Depends on personal preference. Personally, I much prefer Tripredacus. Alot of people...

...don't like how weird and twisted he seems, but he's one of the rare exceptions for me where the general lack of coherency really works; he looks like a mutant robot monster from Hell, which is appropriate. Excellent review of a truly shitty individual TF. 5/5.
