Maybe, but before the olympics there was a lot of media hype calling it the greatest sporting event in the world, plus. It fits in the video. It wouldn't be the same if it said "the nations of the world shall compete in the second or third greatest sporting event in the world"
yes it fits the vudei but the world cup is still the greatest sporting event. more teams participate, it takes longer, and way more people attend/view it
