  • What brand exhaust is that?

  • Thanks for all the info!! Right on.. Looks great!

  • @kickstart73

Martin Bros but I dont think they are around anymore.

  • All talk and no mechanics? Tryint o find out if any one did a rigid triumph fat tire? I've been looking here for a period of abut six months.. No one have any videos? sure like to see some thing from start to finish.

  • deff will send some pics.. i have a bunch all the way through the whole project.. its deff gonna look sick.. ill send them to your email when i finish it up, which will be pretty soon... thanx... steve

  • i have a 97, i streached the swing arm 5 inches and went with a 200... the front is raked out so i stretched to match it.. the wheel is a 60 spoke ultima, not from jack... i ditched the belt and went with pretty much the same setup as you.. thing is the hub looks wider than yours, but i did some research and have decided just to widen the arm to fit.. i do all my own fab work and its really no big deal, i was just wondering what wheel u used...

  • @steveoggill

Ill still find out. Now Im curious what wheel it is too. You have to send me pics of your bike. I wanted to stretch my arm out 3 or 4 inches but I don't have the ability so I would have to have Jack do the welding. I haven't seen one, anywhere, with a stretched arm and I would love to see your. Thanks

    My E-mail is KWagner983@aol.com

  • need to know what brand rim u used.. i talked to penn jersey already, and i ordered a ultima 16x5.5 but now i have to widen the swingarm to use the dished sprocket and wheel... leme know, in this vid it looks like the hub does not stick out on the drive side as much as my rim does... thanx

  • @steveoggill

What year and model bike do you have. I didnt have to do anything to the swingarm. Im not sure of the model of the rim. I have to stop at Jacks (penn jersey) next week so Ill check. Did you get the rim from Jack?

You do have to convert to a chain drive to make it fit.

Also, does the new rim have the same amount of spokes as the original? If it does, you can re-lace the original hub into the new wheel.

  • you did all this long video you might have just put that seat back on .. :I

  • Thats the sickest looking sporty ive ever seen!!! Nice Job Bro!!!

  • Nice convertion, great looking ride. Good job!!!

  • The bike rides nice. It corners a bit different with the wider tire but stills handles them very well. No problems with any changes. I thought the chain would be noisey but you cant hear it with the exhaust. Thanks

  • Since it's been a few months now. How does it ride and handle compared to stock? Any problems with any of the changes? Thanks

  • Awesome vid...I'm looking into getting a Sportster and you just sealed the deal for me. I appreciate your in depth comments and directions for modifying the bike. Great work man.

  • @rubynav Thanks. I love the way it came out..

  • Great, love it. I am going to do it to mine. Thanks for video. I live in cnj and will get parts from ur guy.

  • Prices will vary depending on the area you live and the bike shop you use. I did this myself with the helpful advise of my local bike builder. I would guess I have about $1000.00 in parts for the wide tire alone. That does not include exhaust, speedo relocation etc.... I would say to take your bike to a local bike builder to get a prie if your not doing it yourself. You could also call my guy (Penn Jersey) to see what he would charge but that may require shipping charges.

  • Were did you get your front and rear LED lights?

  • @crankierfrank The front and rear lights are stock, not led

  • @crankierfrank The front and rear lights are stock, not led

  • could you possibly tell us how much a project like that would cost someone if they couldnt do it themselves? including the tire, the rim, the paint, the shaving, all that stuff

  • @MommyBird10 Sorry It took me so long to get bacj to you. My guys at Penn Jersey said he would charge around 2800 complete but he's in Pennsylvania. Check around with local builders in your area. Some guys may do it cheaper.

  • I really dont know what the parts are. The fender and rim/tire were all purchased from Penn Jersey. Give him a call and he can tell you or get them for you. The bars are just standard drag bars I bought from my local Harley dealer, Brians Harley Davidson.

  • Hey

An just wonder if you would be able to tell me who makes the drag bars you have on the bike and what size and who make the rear wheel it look just like the stock one I know you said Penn jersey help you get the parts and who makes the rear fender thanks

  • I love your bike mate !

  • damn i would do this but i dont have the tools necessary.

  • The bike looks awesome I'd like to do the wide tire to mine where did you get the rear wheel

  • i see youre in levittown? i'm right in NE philly. we should hook up sometime. gnarly bike dude.

  • good job bro .. envy of your bike coz i got 48 too .. thx fo putting video out there.. great work n 48 looks sick

  • Thanks so much. On YouTube go to mithigarcha1's site or search "nightster bobber" and look for his videos. He's running a 2010 Nightster with a 200 rear tire (stock swingarm). I got some info from him as well. He is a master machinist and cut most of his own parts for his bike. Side by side, the 200 was much taller but not much wider so I stuck with the 180. Im going to try to get some video of the bike running down the road. I"ll let you know

  • @KWagner983.. thanks, for the kind words kwagner . and that bike looks real cool. cheers

  • Thanks for the help. Thanks for responding so quickly. I will definitely try a 200 on. You made a comment on a 180 tire being more lower then a 200, just wondering how much on a difference it will make, and is it noticeable. You have the best 48 out there buy far. You should make a video of yourself riding it. I would love to see the stance of the bike in motion. Thanks
