tbh i am not realy a fan of most modern shooters, i miss the days of adventure shooters like unreal 1, Quake and half life and real hardcore twitch skill based multiplayer FPS like quake and unreal tourney, the only multiplayer fps i play these days are Team fortress 2 and day of defeat source, everything else just seems realy crap to me, if i was to choose between halo and cod though i would choose halo.

All copy paste military shooters are the same, bland gameplay, Soldiers vs Terrorists on 99% of all maps(Counter Strike much?), plus unlike GTA clones, all military shooters feel like the same game repackaged over and over again. Untrue, Halo is a game set on alien type weapons and extraterrestrial beings. Call Of Duty is a war game based on actual wars and actual places. No possible way halo had any influence on cod when the two are completely different.
