Seriously, latest Daedalus, SM64, mess with the settings a bit and it's actually playable with synchronous/asynchronous (recommended sync audio, experienced crashing with async) audio.

This may not be real, but it is possible. You know, the n64 has the same graphics capability as the gamecube?The only difference is that the n64 games were smaller and needed to be compact, so their models were lowpoly. If you had the powerpc instruction set and the knowhow it could be done.

That's an obvious "duh" considering the GC's processor is an IBM PowerPC "Gekko" running at 486 MHz and the N64's is a NEC VR4300 93.75 MHz. But outside of that, any system can be emulated on any other system as long as is meets the memory requirements. That is...without concern for speed...

The N64 CAN support the same graphics as the GC

But graphics can be changed, so can sound and controls. If you have NO CONCERN FOR SPEED, the only 2 requirements to emulate another system are to have enough memory and be capable of either interpretting or recompiling the assembly for the processor of the system you wish to emulate, which the PSP can do.

I guess the GC is my favorite system because right after that is when Nintendo started screwing up. Before that Nintendo was truly incredible, when I saw a new game I actually WANTED it. Now everything is all about the touchscreens, motion sensors, and kinect. I've lost all respect for Nintendo, thus the reason I'm here...I've turned to Sony.

@Danieldx22 Also, it improves speed to work on a low level. In the case of the N64 emulator DaedalusX64 for PSP, it runs just a little too slow. Had it have been written in assembly instead of c++, it could run N64 games even faster than the N64 itself.

The GC had superior stats. That's why cutscenes which are in real time on the GC are pre-rendered on the PS2 in Resident Evil 4.

The reason the GC did so poorly is Nintendos bad timing. By the time the GC was out, the PS2 had already been out for nearly two years. Then they didn't give two shits about online gaming, then they completely ruined their reputation among the "core" gamers by launching a toon shaded Zelda.
