It's kind of stupid though; there's actually a drum video with him and some other guys jamming and he breaks the head in the middle of jam hahaha. Beating resonant heads = bad idea.

I looooooooooove the Mars Volta, but I'll be the first to admit Cedric is pretty inconsistent live. He's got presence and is a born entertainer, for sure, but his voice just isn't always prepared to belt out all the crazy songs these guys have in their library. that said, this is the best I've ever heard him (and everyone; Pridgen and Omar are at the top of their game). Reminds me a lot of Robert Plant, maybe a little Jim Morrison in there too.  Great performance :D
