  • @dgarr64 Degree and education , sorry

  • @Gavin84w Calif suspended the Secat/ repower for a time because of the lhigh unemployment rate in Calif plus the professor that came up with the formula didn't have the shrew and education he told the calif air resource board . I agree with you goby and free cost us hard working people jobs and money

  • That has to be the most clever design of hauling I have seen! Great video too. I like everthing except the truck driver standing under the raised apron. MSHA would have a cow over that violation!

  • Many thanks for the upload, OK? I have never seen this type of trailer before.

    Take care

    mrbluenun

  • that pilot car driver is doing way too much work, but then again im old fat and lazy haha i would just throw my short ramps and the other long ass heavy ramp on my trailer and block the can with the other long ramp turned on edge ,leave the truck where it is pull the dolly and shag ass outta there..... but thats what makes heavy haul so great we all have our own way of doing stuff be safe....

  • Cool!

  • Great video! Do they put the dolly on the jeep afterwards?

  • @trackhoe23 sometimes. depends on how far away the next load is.

  • up in sierra county they arent calling for any diesel to be repowered

  • i want ralphs jeep and dolley.we were hauling stuff up to vegas for him and he gave us the grand tour of his super clean old equipment.he said us new guys are spoiled girls with oure 18 speeds.he and his red caddy will be on the job site before you every time.cool old dude.going to that job site tommorrow.

  • very cool! ive helped my dad do this before but only with a 631.

  • super! very interesting video!

  • Great video. Explains the proces very well.

  • Like magic.Very nice to see how its done.Have seen 637Ds out on lowboys on some freeways. The 651B weighs in the neighborhood of 120,000lbs

  • awesome video! thats really cool!!

  • Great vid and rig!! Lots of work to get than scraper off! Wheres the 651B going? New job site or the shop for maintence (she was smoking a lot for just rolling around)?

    Awesome vid!

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX his stuff has not been repowered and we mostly haul them out of state(most recently north vegas).though he has been hauling his own 51s,we have been hauling his dozers.

  • @308scoutrfl Why are they being hauled out of state? Different job site? owner? Are they hauled out of state for maintence so the owners dont get screwed by Cali's emissions laws or something?

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX he got a new job in north las vegas.if he doesnt repower his stuff real soon ,he wont be able to work them in california.

  • @308scoutrfl Wow, that sucks!! I love the older CAT diesel engines. Does he have to pay for the repower work and new engines? They arent cheap.

  • @Xx69roadrunnerxX the government used to pay for the repowers,or maybe payed about 75%.not sure if they still do.another company we haul for just had 5 of their 637s repowered for free.labor and engines.

  • @308scoutrfl Well, at least thats good that the govys pay for most of cost. The machines still arent working and making money though..

  • @308scoutrfl Oh yeah, the govt paid and it was free labor and engine, mate the words government and free just do not work together, never have never will. How many repowered scrapers in California have had $100k spent on them when they were likely worth about $50K tops as is and now have no work. The amount of 51,s parked is incredible and that alone would be helping improve the atmosphere but not a single souls back pocket or bottom line and meanwhile the dirt game just declines further.

  • nice

  • never seen a scraper hauled like that before.
