@saigonclassicalguita: The guitar is made in Japan by Yairi and distributed in the US by Alvarez. It is a gorgeous guitar and definitely the best guitar for the price. It should be about $1200 brand new, or you can find it as low as $650 for used. I think the ones made in the 90's are the best, so look out for those if you're going with used ones.

When I watched this video a year ago I was amazed, as I had only started playing classical guitar.

I watched it again tonight (Christmas Eve) and it's still great.

One difference... now I can play it like that too. What the heck, it only took a year... most of the time struggling with "Recuerdos De La Alhambra".

Once I could play Recuerdos, this was a piece of cake!

its really easy, i just learnt it yesterday in 10 minutes. the only difficult chord in there is f major, but its only difficult if ur a beginner :-). have a merry christmas!

Thanks! I'm using a concert guitar by K. Yairi (hand-built in Japan). I bought it in San Francisco many years ago. These guitars have impeccable craftsmanship and the Brazilian Rosewood/Jacaranda back and sides are absolutely gorgeous. I like Spanish guitars too, but the characteristics are very different.
