  • Toby does your invention need high towers? I live close to the beach and would a Helyx work on the top of a house because there is a lot of wind and towers are unacceptable.

  • What you are hearing is the creaking of the Truck Bed to which is attached the tower base. The Turbine itself is silent.

  • Oregon Wind is conducting this research now, preliminary data for this 18 foot HelyxTM wind turbine was a measured 225 Volts from a PM Alternator measured over 80 feet away.
