Hmm... vocals were quite accurate, but apart from that, the whole band just totally lacked any fire.

Hendrix took this song and blew that shit up. This kind of fizzles out pathetically during the intro solo.

im pretty sure Yngwie knew Bob Dylan made the original.

he was covering Jimi's guitar notes though. if he was covering Bob's it'd sound much differnt.

hell, bob himself plays this song like jimi's version on his live shows (seen him twice) and admits it. Not that he himself does the soloing, one of his band guys does, but the sytructuring and feel he goes for is jimi's. He says he feels like it's a tribute to Hendrix when he plays it, which is cool, cuz Bob has plenty of other songs in his own legacy.

Its true that this is technically a Dylan song, but the reason practically nobody knows that is because Jimi's version completely overshadows the original version, which makes sense considering Jimi's version is infinitely better, im not badmouthing dylan's version, i am just saying that Hendrix's was much much better
