  • Well based on own personal thoughts, I am actually surprised that "A Day In The Life" is the #1 Beatles song in Rolling Stone's countdown. On the other hand, a lot of us were not expecting that as a lot of us were thinking that "Hey Jude" would be #1 because "Hey Jude" was the Beatles song that spent the longest time at #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 staying at that position for 9 consecutive weeks from late September to late November 1968.
