I love all the cool scans of the zoned out crowds, the images of people throwing themselves all about, or the close ups of Jimi chewing trident... but how come not one of the camera men could have just focused on Jimi and his guitar? Thats what I want to watch
Jimi found his own sound, he didn't copy anyone which makes him a very great musician! would have loved to see what he could have done in the future...
@zeppelinrocks100 I'm sure people in Britain had seen a black person play Rock N Roll before Jimi Hendrix came on the scene. Chuck Berry was a Rock N Roll player that came before Jimi.
but don't forget Hendrix got big in the UK first, without the uk hendrix wouldnt have been as big as he was.....and noel redding and mitch mitchell are british, and hendrix wanted to be buried in England
@KIDAmnesiacBends True dat. But Hendrix's most underrated stuff is the best in my opinion which was played in AMERICA!! (Machine Gun, Who Knows Fillmore East New York) , Star Spangled Banner Woodstock)
@HFRose Well i guess you were born yesterday, this man is the reason most guitarist play guitar today, and the years before that. This man played the guitar with not digital enhancements or computer editing or tricks back in the 60's, not even modern guitarist and modern technology can reproduce his sound or the quality and the way he played the guitar.
@HFRose because this stuff is like 40 years old, obviously most people just listen to what they hear on the radio or on MTV and this kind of stuff doesn't get played much on either.
