When I saw this live, it was intense. One of the most intense performances I've seen. And it's rare that you can get an entire audience to be dead silent for a full act. It was incredible.

Trust me, it's all water, the locks are real, they're not super-modern, but they're real, Houdini himself would have an extremely hard time opening a modern day Yale lock, but older locks are quite easy to pick, but imagine, under water picking a lock, your vision is minimal and she really is underwater the entire time, this is skill not so much an illusion, but precise excellent skill.. Dont disrespect the act, if u can't perform it yourself :)

@cheapipod - no, look again at 0:33 - you can see the top of the water. Again at 1:23. That is a simple cylinder filled with water. The illusion is not based on a "fake" tank of water. It is that you think the restraints are inescapable. In fact, they are not.

they did it wrong! her feet are supposed to be on the top of the lid so that her weight is stopping her from escapeing! she did well though!

There are 2 different WTC's, one upside down and this one, the difference is, the upside down one is a real illusion, and they usually only use handcuffs on that one, she picks 8 locks and is underwater the entire time + thisone is vissible to the audience, good luck ever viewing an upside down WTC uncovered :)
