@souldrinker555 erm.damage is based on brave,with is the value above the health bar.brave attacks can increase ur brave,and when u hit ur opponent with a hp attack,you'll do more damage to their hp.the moment the opponent is 0,the battles over.

Dark Knight all the way, always hated his class change in FFIV. I don't care how it fit in the story, the dark knight looked bad ass, the paladin was kind of...too colorful...

Nope even better. Unfortunately i don't have a better analogy so i'll just use the one i have:

Cecil in this game is like Zelda in Smash, Using a certain HP attack changes him from Dark Knight to Paladin and vice versa

Basically if you have the full game the Cecil "costumes" are 2 dark knight forms (red and yellow) and 2 paladin forms. Plus the "ALL COLOR" forms

You build up brave points with simple attacks, and when you use a special attack you use the brave points to deal direct damage
