the port isn't complicated but at the beginning maybe a little. Just try to start again all deleting samsung pc studio program and drivers of the samsung, then reboot your pc and start to install again the program samsung pc studio(my samsung pc studio worked for me) and driver(my driver worked for me). i think the only port enable is com3. I'll post in a fews minutes my version of samsung pc studio and my driver.

TechHax, I'm still having issues. I completely turned off Samsung New PC Studio. No processes, nothing! Not even the little icon sitting in the corner by the clock. I have fully working drivers, everything updated. I'm on Windows XP. I even left my phone connected to my computer, set the USB mode to PC Studio, rebooted my phone, PC Studio remained closed. I opened TKFE2, and clicked on Settings>COM> Port and there is still NOTHING! Can you help please? I've been at this for 3 days.

yeah I used to use that method as well...of course there is a possibilitty of bricking your phone (if you do something wrong) ...and if you do you can debrickify your phone, go to the samsung-eternity site.

This happens to me sometimes too. Restart your phone, make sure taht PC STUDIO IS CLOSED 100%, even the little icon by the clock. And make sure your phone is set to Samsung PC studio - in the USB connection.
